#TrustGodProvides
“Jesus asks us, this is the reality. Jesus asks us to do something and what do we respond with? Excuses. Oh, I could never could never buy all that food. Now, were the disciples correct? The disciples were not wrong. There was no possible way they could afford to feed that many people. And here's the other truth. It's quite possible that whatever it is God is asking you to do, there is absolutely no way you could do it. But here's the thing, if Jesus is asking you to do it, he will provide the way for you to do it. He will provide the means for you to do it. He will provide the resources, the skills, whatever is necessary, Jesus will provide if he is the one asking you to do it.”

#EyesOnJesus
“If we focused on the walking on water, I don't know about you, but for me the truth is I know I have a whole lot of Peter in me. And when I am focused on Jesus, when I am in his word, when I'm spending time with him, when I am locked in on serving others the way I should, then I too am truly at peace. When your life is in line with God's will, you feel his presence, don't you? The wind and the waves, they seem to calm down. But when we get distracted like Peter, then our life can turn upside down at a moment's notice. It can become the chaos that Peter was experiencing as he began to sink. As long as he was focused on Christ, he was able to do the impossible.”

#FocusThroughStorms
“Because you and I can't walk on water. But when he was focused on Jesus, he could walk on water. What is it that you and I can't do on our own? But if we focus on Jesus, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens I wanna challenge all of his family to focus on Jesus, to stay focused on him. Whether we're in good times right now, that's when it's easy to lose focus, isn't it? When things are going just fine. Easy to lose focus. Don't lose focus when things are going well. Maybe you're in bad times right now and you've lost focus on Jesus. Get focused on Jesus. Whether life seem peaceful or you're in the middle of a storm, keep our eyes focused on him.”

#JesusIsMoreThanEnough
“Now the ending of this miracle is also a sign. It's a sign from God through Jesus of simply this, our Jesus is more than enough for us. It's impossible to imagine everyone eating being full and there being leftovers. But the scholars tell us that there's probably a deeper meaning behind even the leftovers. That this was actually a sign from God to the Jews. The 12 baskets, not coincidental. Those would represent the 12 tribes of Israel. Jesus proving that he is the one that they've been waiting for and that he is more than enough to provide for their needs. Now he might not look like much, it might seem impossible, but he is in fact their long awaited Messiah, all from a boy's lunchable.”

#BringItToJesus
“And for those of us that think, hey, I don't want to go to Jesus with this issue, this problem, this thing in my life because I don't want to annoy him. You can't annoy him with your issues and your problems. Just like the crowd, he will stop and he will recognize that you are searching and he will meet you where you are and begin to fulfill that need and answer those questions and whatever it is that is happening in your life. He wants to be a part of. So quit making excuses for why you don't take those things to God.”

#LittleBecomesMuch
“If we bring whatever we have to him in faith, he will take it, he will multiply it until it is beyond measure. No matter how small or insignificant you think your offering If you willingly give, look at what he can do. This applies to your skills. It applies to your abilities. It applies to every one of the spiritual gifts you have been given. And yes, it applies to your generosity as well.”

#MiracleMultiplication
“If Jesus had taken these five loaves and two fishes, held them up before the 15,000 said, I will now feed all of you with this food here in my hands. They would have all laughed hysterically at him. Just as they did at Jarius' house, remember? Oh, she's asleep. Right Jesus. You're gonna feed us with that. Okay. Whatever. Jesus took that offering. All the boy had, he blessed it. He fed everyone there and then there were 12 baskets of leftovers. Now, how do you collect more than you started with? That is impossible, and that is our Jesus.”

#LoveLikeJesus
“Here Jesus gives us the perfect example of how to handle that annoying fill in the blank. Family member, coworker, neighbor, He shows us here is how you deal with it with the compassion and love of Jesus. He did not get frustrated with the crowd. He didn't try to avoid them like many of us would have. Instead, he recognized the truth. They're lost. They're lost and they're searching. And at this point in their lives, they're searching in the right place, aren't they? For sure. They were in the right place at the right time. They were looking for his guidance and his direction, which is exactly for the record what every one of us should be searching for as well.”
