#JesusTakesOurPlace
“We are the modern day Barabbas. We are the modern day guilty and sinner, but Jesus shows up and does not plead his case, does not try to convince, but what have I done? Instead, he remains as that humble lamb of God standing there, getting ready to be brutally beaten for no crime of his own, but instead for the crime of us all. That is your loving savior. That's who your Jesus is today. That is who he is, that he takes your place in mine, that when we stand before the judge of all judges, the God of all gods, that when we stand on that trial, Jesus would say, I represent him. I represent her. I represent them.”

“Can I say something and it's just gonna stay here? But I'm tired of people who don't know Jesus personally saying, oh, God bless me. Oh, God will hear my prayer. No. He doesn't. No. He doesn't. If you truly have not accepted him into your heart, don't try to get God to entertain you because he's not a genie. He's not something that you live your life in sin and all of a sudden, well, God will hear me. No. He won't. I'm so sorry to say that. And maybe some of you are thinking, no. If you do know do not know him as your personal lord and savior, stop calling him father.”
