“So often we find ourselves struggling to fully recognize the good news of the resurrection that is unfolding right before our eyes. As we hear this morning, Christ embraces us Christ embraces our questions, embraces our wonders, and comes to us again and again and again and again. Showing us his hands, showing us his side, and revealing that good news of the resurrection over and over again. Christ meets us where we are. In those moments where we doubt and wonder and question when they're met with Christ's wounds, faith blossoms. We encounter that resurrection over and over again. And then when that happens, Jesus then does gently nudge us out the door to go out into the world and to share that good news again.”

“From there, as doctor Thomas said in her writing, faith blossomed, and resurrection happened all over again. That is the good news that we hear this morning. That Christ meets us where we are and does not push us away when we wonder, when we question, or even when we doubt. Whether we feel like we have it all figured out or not, Jesus appears to us all, shows us his hands and his side, and lovingly embraces us once again. Reminds us of that good news of the resurrection. And as Christ does this, he then gently nudges us out the door to go out and share that good news in the world.”
