#TrustJesusToHeaven
“``If you want your destination to be eternal life, if you want your destination to be heaven, who better to get you there than Christ? He knows everything. He knows all the things that you're gonna go through. But so many times, we wanna grab ahold of the wheel and say, no, I wanna do this. I don't wanna take that road. I wanna take this road. But that's what it means to follow Jesus, is you gotta let go and trust that he is gonna get us to the destination that we wanna be at better than we ever could.”

#GodInTheBackseat
“I was driving to Minneapolis a while back, maybe you guys have seen this bumper sticker on cars too where it says, god is my copilot. I've always heard it say, you know what? If you have god as your copilot, you better switch seats because you don't wanna copilot anything. In all honesty, I don't wanna even be of a copilot. I wanna sit in the back seat and say, god, you have it all. You have my entire life, everything. I'm gonna follow you the best I possibly can.”

#HearFathersVoice
“But unfortunately, there's many that did not recognize the father's voice. In fact, they said it thundered. That's what they thought happened. And I think that that's true today. You see, many of us, we want to live for ourselves, but we only choose bits and pieces of God's word to follow. But if we're going to listen to God's voice, we need to have a relationship with him. We need to continue to grow, to continue to read, continue to learn, to be able to hear the voice and recognize the voice of the father instead of it being some noise or some thundering in the back of our heads.”

#LiveForChristNotSelf
“Well, I think what Jesus was talking about is that if you love your life, you're doing what you want to do. You're doing what makes you happy. And I think the society that we live in right now is is telling us that. Right? You do you. Live your best life. Look out for number one. Do whatever you want to do, whatever makes you happy. And what Jesus is saying is that that's not the way a Christian should be living. And he's he's giving a warning. He says, you could lose eternal life if you just live for yourself.”
