#FollowHisLead
“Jesus asked us first to accept him as our leader, then he asks us to follow him, to be part of what he's doing here on earth. And it can feel like a big challenge. Last week, if you're here for inside out Sunday, it felt like a big ask and a big challenge to say, we need to do it all together to keep the church running. We all have a part to play and a role to play and something to do. It can seem huge.”

#ShareWhateverYouHave
“what I do know is that one boy gave his pack lunch. who here has a pack lunch at school? Who's here the pack lunch ever? Like, maybe know a school trip? Yeah. Yeah. You've had some pack lunches. Do you think that if everyone on the school bus going to a trip forgot theirs and you brought out your packed lunch, do you think that everyone will be filled by what you have in your packed lunch box? No. You'd still have something, but you wouldn't be filled up. this little boy gave what he could, and then Jesus did a miracle. Even though it was impossible to feed everybody from what we could see, Jesus still took that one little lunch and made it fill every single person. No one was left hungry. Not one person was hungry.”

#LedByLove
“Jesus in our story, we're gonna hear in a moment, didn't wear a badge saying that he's a captain or an armband or goggles or a special hat or anything. He was called rabbi, which was teacher, but he didn't wear anything special, probably didn't have anything going, I am the son of god. He didn't have anything like that. But people followed him because of how he acted, of what he did, of how he loved other people. We also know that he was a leader of all of his disciples. He had 12 disciples, plus he had other disciples that came along as well. And he led all of these people as well as leading all of the crowds. People came to Jesus because they could see that he was something special. And so we're gonna be hearing that story and hearing what happened and how they acted.”

#FiveLoavesTwoFish
“If you go back to our bible story that we heard, which was read so well today, Jesus had a plan. Jesus had a job for everyone there. He got everyone to sit down on the grass. They weren't all walking around. Then he prayed, and then he did the miracle of turning just five loaves of bread and two little fish into a full meal for a crown. He showed that he was the son of God.”
