46s
“``I wish somebody would get with me real quick because he understood that if I got Jesus, I can always get more fish. But if I got fish and I miss Jesus, then I've lost everything that I need. Because no matter how good of a fisherman he is, that fish will eventually rot and spoil. But the God I serve never goes bad because he's the same yesterday, today, and forever. So Peter makes a conscious decision not to get so consumed with the gift that he forgets about the giver, but instead he proves to god that I truly love him more than anything.”

“``And let me put the sermon in park real quick because I don't know who I'm preaching to, but I came to let you know that whenever God shows up in your life, you have to make a conscious decision to show them that you truly love him more than anything. And I wonder if there's anybody in the building who can testify that I'm grateful for every miracle. I'm grateful for every blessing. I'm grateful for every open door. I'm grateful for the healing in my body. I'm grateful for every provision. But if I had to give it all up and keep Jesus, that's enough for me.”
58s
“``And I don't know who I'm preaching to this morning, but there's somebody under the sound of my voice who is ready to walk away from the season you're in because you've been unsuccessful. There's a father on Father's Day under the sound of my voice that's ready to throw in the towel because everything you've tried has been unsuccessful. You're ready to walk away from your season because you failed in a familiar place. You're ready to walk away because you think there's a problem with your season. But I stopped by to let you know that your issue isn't your season, but baby, it just might be your strategy. So I know it makes sense to fish at night, but maybe God wants to see if you'll trust him during the day. So instead of giving up on your season, I stop by to encourage somebody to switch your strategy.”

“``one of the things that I've discovered is that one of the issues with the modern day church is that we have too many believers who fail to acknowledge god's appearance in their lives. And when you fail to acknowledge god's appearance, you'll attribute his blessings to your ability. Causing you to think that you're the reason why you made it this far in your life. When the truth is you fooled yourself into believing that you pulled yourself up by your own bootstraps. When the truth is you couldn't have pulled yourself up if god didn't give you the boots, the straps, or the energy to do it.”
