Revelation ends where it began, with Jesus revealed. The book is not mainly a puzzle box for arguments, speculation, or pontificating. The book is the revelation of Jesus Christ, the King in all his glory, the one coming to establish his kingdom once and for all and for all eternity. The Gospels show the suffering servant, the sacrificial Lamb, the one silent at trial and willing to go to the cross. Revelation shows the same Jesus as judge, king, and Lord, coming to set all things right.
