45s
“Jesus doesn't say try harder, Peter. He doesn't say do better, Peter. He doesn't say don't mess this up again because I'm not sure. No. He says follow me. The same grace that restores Peter now sends Peter back on mission. The shaping and sending power of the gospel on display right here in John 21. Listen, church, you are not disqualified by your failures. Your failures are not stronger than the grace of Jesus. Jesus is not done with you, you don't have to earn your way back to him. No, Jesus is in the joy filled business of restoring and sending, restoring and sending, restoring and sending.”

“Say that you're worthless. Say that you're a coward. Once you do, then we can move towards forgiveness. No. Listen, church. No matter what you have done now, tomorrow, or yesterday, there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Church, Jesus is saying to Peter and he's saying to you and I this morning, nothing you have done has earned my love and nothing you have done or could do could undo it. This is how much Jesus loves Peter, and this is how much he loves you, church.”
