#JesusOurPeace
“There's only one person who can deal with this enmity between us and God. There's only one way that this enmity with God can be turned into glorious peace. And it's not on the basis of deeds that we have done in righteousness, but according to his mercy. If Jesus Christ, who is our peace, through his cross, reconciles us to the father, we experience the best kind of peace that we could ever have. This peace is more glorious than any earthly peace that we could possess. This peace with God is so rich, is so pure, is so stabilizing that no matter what we face in this life, we can face it knowing that we are reconciled to holy God.”

#SalvationAtTheCross
“It is only at the cross that the clouds of this enmity can roll away. It's only where darkness reign for three hours as Jesus Christ being fully human and fully divine absorbed the wrath for every sin for those who would place their trust in him. God was both the just and the justifier of sinners at the cross. And even as we heard at the Good Friday service, it was finished. Friend, there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. Every other religion that exists at some level is a religion of works. But this religion is a relationship with Jesus Christ.”
