1. "Everything in life changes. There are seasons. My kids, I don't know why, they've been repeating the scripture that says, there's a time for everything, a season underneath it. And they like to come up with their own little seasons and times, some of which are more appropriate than others, and then laugh about them and everything. But it's good. There's times, there's seasons, there's changes that come. And some of those, things can be very, very good. It can be very, very beautiful. And others can be very unsettling." 2. "In a world where everything changes, we need some things that never do, and Jesus is that someone. Jesus is that something. We just sang that he's the cornerstone, He's the same yesterday, today, and forever, and we're going to read about him as we come to Hebrews chapter 7 in the Bible." 3. "Jesus is God's continual presence with his people. The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office. But, Jesus holds his priesthood permanently. He continues forever. Jesus is God's continual presence with his people." [11:44] (12 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

4. "Times have changed. God's truth, God's ways have not. In Jesus, we have a priest that is unchanging. He continues to be the perfect fulfillment, the representative of God. And his truth and his ways do not change." [16:30] (21 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

5. "You have constant, consistent relationship with Jesus who is constantly and consistently interceding for you, working on your behalf. So as you talk with your friend, where you have love and acceptance in him, that is Jesus's feeling. That is the feeling that Jesus has for you. That is the truth about your relationship. It doesn't change based on what you did." [27:54] (21 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

6. "Here's the third thing that happens with consistency. We can stop working. We can stop striving. We can rest. Hebrews 7, verse 27, tells us why. He has no need, like those high priests offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once and for all when he offered up himself. Once and for all. It's done. Your past, covered. Your present, covered. Your present, future, covered. Once and for all. You can stop working. You can stop striving. You can stop wondering if you've done enough." [30:54] (60 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

7. "You can trust him. Have you ever noticed how you can't trust things that you can't count on? You can't trust what's not complete. You can't trust what's constantly changing. James 4 says that when we trust him, we can draw near to him. Verse 7 and 8, says this, submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, he'll flee from you. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Drawing near comes from trust." [33:12] (30 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
