Bible ReadingJohn 20:30-3130 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book;
[00:59:05] 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
[00:59:07]Matthew 8:23-2723 And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him.
[01:04:12] 24 And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep.
[01:04:25] 25 And they went and woke him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing.”
[01:04:38] 26 And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
[01:04:48] 27 And the men marveled, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?”
[01:05:11]Matthew 16:13-1813 Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”
[01:06:28] 14 And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
[01:08:20] 17 And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.”
[01:07:18] 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
