#SurrenderAll
“So, father, we ask that you would strengthen us, and by the power of your spirit, you would you would give us everything we need to turn from our hypocrisy, from our idolatry, from our sinfulness, and instead of living lives where we seek to render to ourselves the things we want, Lord, let us be those who render to you that which you deserve, which is all of us, which is all of our day from top to bottom, from all of our week, all of our month, the entirety of our lives. Lord, we ask that you would you would shape and refine our thinking so that every idle thought would be captured, that we would think the way you want us to think, so that we would live the way you want us to live, that we would glorify you because you are worthy of all glory.”

#IdolOfSelf
“In fact, not only are all of us hypocrites Listen, let's be honest. Every single one of us are idolaters. We don't worship a God that's shaped like a bird or a a bull, we worship the idol that we find in the mirror every day. The idol of self, our desires, our passions, our longings, our preferences, that the Lord is continually poking at and reminding us that they're not of Him. They don't glorify Him. It doesn't bring honor to Him. In fact, it's not even just our our hypocrisy and our our idolatry, the reality is we all come before the Lord as sinners, and the truth is there's not one of us that have responded well.”

#TestsRevealUs
“It's about the test of life, and the truth is, every one of us have different tests of life that we're facing. Maybe you're going through a financial or a health challenge test. Maybe it's relational, maybe in in your your life planning or the direction of life or or the way things are going in your family. I don't know what it is, but but let me ask you, are you facing the tests and the challenges of life, and are you filtering it like the religious leaders did where you were using the test for your own selfish gain? The difficulties in your life, are you angling and saying, How can this work out best for me?”

#RenderToGod
“What is Jesus doing here? He says, The coin bears Caesar's image. Give him the coin. You bear the image of God. If the coin bears Caesar's image and it should be given to Caesar, then if you bear the image of God, what does God require of you? What are you to render to God? Well, just like the coin is rendered to Caesar, listen, the image bearer is rendered to the Creator.”
