#ChristWithinHope
“It's a mystery. It's weird. We don't totally understand it. I couldn't write write a a doctoral thesis on on how this thing works. I just know that it works. Because the apostle Paul said, this is the mystery. We don't totally understand it, but Christ lives in you, and this, the fact that Christ lives in you, this gives you assurance of sharing in his glory. That Christ lives in you, this assures us, it gives us this substance of hope that we can share in all that God has for us. That's Christ living in us, not just around us.”

#ChangeOnlyThroughChrist
“He's living in us. That is our only hope for our lives lining up with what God wants for us. That's the only way we can do it. Come on, without that how much have you changed? Let's just be real. Without Christ living in us, how much do we actually change? You may be able to change a few small parts of your life but the big parts, the big most important parts of your life that really need change, come on there's no hope, there's no assurance without Christ living in us. So on your own, no hope, right? When it's just up to us, like if we could do it ourselves wouldn't we already have done it? Wouldn't we already be changed?”

#TrustOverFear
“Why why does this tree not fear? Because it trusts in the Lord. The tree is this man who trusts in the Lord. He doesn't fear when he comes. Come on, huge enemy, right, to a tree could shrivel a tree or a plant up, but he doesn't fear when heat comes. Come on, have you felt a little heat in life? Sometimes heat comes, right, from life. But this man, he doesn't fear when the heat comes. Why? Because he trusts in the Lord.”

#OneFruitOfTheSpirit
“It's this fruit that grows out of us and that fruit is all these things. But it's not like a grab bag. It's not like pick and choose. It's not like, come on, fruit salad. Where fruit salad, can just pick what you want. Come on, I don't go after the bananas. I love bananas, but in fruit salad, they're usually brown and slimy. I stay away from the bananas. Grapes, I'll pick unless they're cut in half. If they're cut in half, then they get slimy. I I go after the cantaloupe and the blueberries. But but this fruit of the spirit, it's not like a bunch of fruit so you can pick and choose like a fruit salad, it's the fruits of the spirit that grows out of us. It's singular.”
