#HouseOfPrayer
“What we're talking about is is the process by which we approach our god biblical. Do we enter into his gates with thanksgiving? Do we enter into his courts with praise? Is prayer still I I've had folks tell me, we could cut a lot of time out of our service if we'd move prayer maybe to the end and then folks that didn't wanna stay for prayer could leave. I'm like, wait a minute, prayer is one of the most most fundamental things of the church. Why am I gonna cut that out? It's gonna stay right where it's at long as I'm here. We wrestle with. What do we do with? I tell you what we're gonna do. We're gonna still have prayer around the altar. We're still gonna be Pentecostal people. We're still gonna keep all on the altar steps that we can anoint with all. Lay hands on and pray the prayer of faith because I believe in the word of God. He said that my house shall be a house of prayer. Amen. Amen.”

#RefuseGossip
“Refuse gossip. Number two, refuse gossip. Repeat. Refuse it. If it doesn't come from the source, don't repeat it. And when it comes from the source, if it's told you in confidence, don't go tell your best friend that's not gonna tell their best friend that's gonna tell their best friend. I'm not gonna tell anybody else but my best friend. They wouldn't tell anybody, but they've got another best friend they're gonna tell that's gonna tell somebody. And next thing you know, it's been twisted by Satan until it's all over the place like a wildfire. Yes. Just shut it down. Refuse unnecessary division. I put that word unnecessary in there. I'd like to say refuse division but there's times that god does separate. there's times you'll separate things out. So, if it's unmet but if it's necessary, let god do the work and then fight for reconciliation. Fight to reconcile. Fight to bring people back into the body of Christ. Fight to get people right with god and then lastly, pastor Rhonda come.”

#PeopleAreTheTemple
“The dwelling place change. No longer a tent with human hands but a people that are now filled with the spirit of the living god. Where we go, god goes because the spirit of god dwells within us. Hallelujah. Glory to his name. Hallelujah. The sacrifices changed because we now offer ourselves as a living sacrifice. Holy and acceptable unto god. But the heart of god's design never changed. God still has a people. Somebody ought to say amen right there. God still has a people. God still gathers together with his people. God still speaks to his word. God's people still worship. God's people still pray. God's people still bear one another's burdens, and god's presence still dwells in the midst of his people when they come together in unity.”

#GodsPatternNotPreference
“We've walked through the curtain of the tabernacle because long before there was an upper room, long before there were pastors and deacons and elders, long before there were church buildings to gather in, there was a holy god who carefully established how his people would approach him. And when you read the instructions of the tabernacle in Exodus, one thing becomes immediately obvious. God leaves very little to human preference. Think about it. The measurements of the tabernacle are specific. Went back and did a lot of research over the last couple of weeks. I've been working on this one. The furniture was very specific. The sacrifices were very specific. The priesthood, very specific. The days that you celebrated the feast, very specific. The order of worship leading into the presence of god was very specific. Again and again throughout Exodus, you read these words. According to the pattern, I showed you on the mountain.”

#JesusIsHead
“From the tabernacle temple, upper room, the church today, there's always been one consistent truth. God establishes the pattern and his people respond in faithful obedience which brings us back to the question of today. If Jesus is head of the church, do I have the right to redefine what he's already designed? Let's discover four things real quick. Maybe five and Imma Imma just point em out and Imma breeze over em. Can you say this with me? Jesus is the head. Jesus is the Of the church. Of the church. Alright. Colossians one eighteen. I've got that in there for you. I've got multiple scriptures for you to use. He is the head of the body, the church. The key point, fill this out. The church belongs to Christ not to us.”

#LiveDifferentForJesus
“Key point, church is not merely a place we go to, it's the people we become. Notice that. Our foundational truth, the church demonstrates the reality of the gospel when redeemed people. Listen to me, live differently. You know that's what the world's looking for? You you all know that? Bill, I must like that orange shirt, buddy. I'm a come talk you again. Amen. It's one of my favorite colors too by the way. When we live differently. I've got I've got some lost friends that I'm trying so hard to reach His biggest drawback is, Art, if I were to call his name, you know him good. His biggest drawback is he can't see the difference way he's living and the way the church folk live. And because he can't find the difference, he says, what's the need? Church, Why? I'm just telling you, redeem people live differently.”

#DevotionNotConvenience
“So, how do we apply it? Imma just hit the highlights, guys. Here's, I wanna ask you a question and you ask yourself, am I following Christ, following Christ, or I or am I simply looking for a church that matches my preference? Wait a minute. Well, that one over there. Never mind. Y'all get the idea. Second point, stay with me. We're going go quick. The early church devoted themselves. Listen to me. They didn't customize discipleship. And they continued steadfast in the apostles doctrines. Acts two and forty two and and fellowship in the breaking of bread and prayers. Here's my key point. Biblical discipleship requires devotion. Devotion. Say that with me. Devotion. Not convenience. Foundational truth. Christianity is not a customizable lifestyle accessory. It is a total surrender. Say that with me. Total surrender to the lordship of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah.”

#ChristDeterminesChurch
“And he's told us what it is. These four things that he talked about that we read in scripture right here early on in verse 42. So the main idea, listen to me, fill these in. The church belongs to Jesus. Somebody say amen. Amen. Did I give you all the guiding thought? Let me back up. Yeah. When he's truly lord, we stop asking and we start submitting. So, here again is the main idea. Church belongs to Jesus. Yeah. This is his house. We're the sheep of his pasture. Amen. And he's the good shepherd. Yes. Not me. He. Amen. And because the church belongs to him, he alone determines. Watch this. Imma give you three three Ps. Us preachers like to do that. It determines, he determines its purpose priorities, and practices. Everything we do is what he's prescribed to us. So, there's a tension then that we've gotta wrestle through. You've already seen the tension evolving right here. If Jesus is lord of my life, why would I insist on doing church my way instead of his?”
