These “respectable” sins still master lives, still demand worship, still separate from Christ. Only His blood breaks chains, whether iron or velvet. [57:10]

Those filled by Him need fear no squatter, for the King’s presence guards every door. Yet this security demands total surrender: no closet locked, no drawer withheld. Anything less may tidy up the house for a while, but it cannot fill it.

Jesus also warns against rolling the dice with delay. A person who escapes one sinful pattern without surrendering to Christ remains vulnerable to another, perhaps worse or more effective, attack. The house always wins if someone keeps playing long enough. Satan is persistent and seeks to hang on to those still under his rule.

Christ, however, delivers his people from the domain of darkness and transfers them into his kingdom. Christ protects believers from demonic dominion, though believers must still resist temptation and refuse to give Satan a voluntary foothold. Christ calls unbelievers to surrender by faith today, and Christ calls believers to surrender every area of life to his good rule.
