“it's a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God apart from Jesus. But with Jesus, we're not merely increasing our odds of salvation. With Jesus, we could have complete confidence. In fact, there's a place in Hebrews that says that Jesus is able to save completely those who come to god through him. It's a hard truth to hear. But it's also not like the, quote unquote, seat belt is hidden or somewhere outside of our reach. Jesus is better by far partially because he's available to us all. The message is for every person that Jesus came to rescue.”

“We can have both. And here's what I think often happens is young Christians tend to have really big faith, but it's not always tested by the hardships and circumstances. As you get older, you start to experience hardships and you need to develop better faith. And the challenge is that sometimes we settle for better better faith and we forfeit bigger faith, and there's no need to do that. We could have big faith and better faith. I don't know how you need your faith to grow, but I know that the only way to have bigger faith and better faith is to make sure you have a living faith in the living Jesus. The book of Hebrews inspires our faith.”

“God is able to restore my marriage. That's big faith. But even if he does not, that's better faith. God is able to work in the heart of my kids. Sometimes that requires really, really big faith. But even if he does not, that's better faith. The book of Hebrews helps to inspire a really mature faith that includes both.”
