Jesus is not only the Savior of your soul but also the Lord of your healing, possessing all power in heaven and earth to drive out sickness and infirmity from your life. He was given authority by God so that you could overcome anything the enemy tries to put on you, and His power to heal is available to all who come to Him, regardless of their past or circumstances. You are invited to declare and believe that Jesus is Lord over every area of your health, trusting that His victory extends to your body as well as your spirit. [29:26]
Matthew 28:18 (ESV)
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”
Reflection: What is one area of your life—physical, emotional, or spiritual—where you need to declare today, “Jesus is Lord of my healing”? Speak it out loud and invite Him into that place.
Jesus bore your sicknesses, pains, and iniquities on the cross, fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah and making healing available to you as part of His redemptive work. The suffering He endured was not for His own sins, but for yours, so that you could be free from both sin and sickness; His wounds are the source of your healing. This truth is not just for eternity but for your life right now—God wants you to live free from the bondage of sickness, knowing that Jesus has already paid the price. [30:21]
Isaiah 53:4-5 (ESV)
Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed.
Reflection: When you experience pain or symptoms, do you see them as something you must bear, or do you see them as something Jesus has already carried for you? How can you shift your thinking today to align with what Jesus has done?
Sickness and infirmity are works of the devil, but Jesus was manifested to destroy them wherever He found them, healing all who came to Him without discrimination. The enemy may try to convince you that you deserve your suffering or that it must remain, but Jesus came to break every chain and set you free, regardless of the cause or your past. You are not condemned to sickness; instead, you are justified and empowered to resist the enemy’s lies and receive the healing Jesus offers. [38:24]
1 John 3:8 (ESV)
Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
Reflection: What is one lie the enemy has tried to make you believe about your sickness or suffering? Write it down, then declare the truth that Jesus came to destroy that work in your life.
Through Jesus’ obedience and sacrifice, you are no longer under condemnation but have received the free gift of justification and righteousness, giving you the right to be healed and free from suffering. Sickness is not your punishment; God is not sending judgment or curses upon you, for He is satisfied with the work of Jesus on your behalf. When you agree with what God says about you—declaring your righteousness and freedom—you begin to reign over what once reigned over you, putting sickness under your feet. [46:56]
Romans 5:18-19 (ESV)
Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.
Reflection: Are there thoughts or words you have spoken that agree with condemnation rather than justification? What is one way you can begin to speak and agree with God’s declaration of your righteousness and healing today?
Your feelings, symptoms, and pain may try to justify themselves and condemn you, but God’s Word declares you justified, healed, and free because of Jesus’ finished work. The key is to agree with what God says, not what your body or the enemy says—when you speak God’s truth over your life, you begin to experience the reality of His healing and freedom. God has closed the book on your guilt and punishment; now it’s your turn to look at the blood of Jesus and reign over sickness by faith in His Word. [53:23]
1 Peter 2:24 (ESV)
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
Reflection: What is one specific promise from God’s Word about healing that you can speak over yourself today, especially when symptoms or doubts arise? Write it down and declare it every time you are tempted to agree with your pain instead.
The lordship of Jesus is not just a theological concept—it's a living reality that touches every part of our lives, especially our health and wholeness. Jesus, having been given all power in heaven and earth, uses that authority for our benefit, to help us overcome anything the enemy tries to put on us. The scriptures in Isaiah 53, Matthew 8, and 1 Peter 2 make it clear: Jesus bore our sins and our sicknesses, and by his stripes, we are healed. This is not just a promise for the afterlife, but a present reality for those who believe. The power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power that drives sickness out of our lives today.
Many people, both in Jesus’ time and now, struggle with the idea that suffering or sickness is a punishment for sin or a result of personal failure. The enemy works hard to convince us that we deserve what we’re going through, that our pain is justified, and that we must simply accept it. But the truth is, Jesus did not come to justify sickness or condemn people. He came to justify people and condemn sickness. The cross was not just about forgiveness of sins, but also about breaking the power of sickness and pain over our lives.
The way we think is crucial. The enemy tries to keep us bound by getting us to agree with thoughts of condemnation and unworthiness. But when we align our thinking with God’s Word—when we declare that Jesus is Lord of our healing and agree with what God says about us—we begin to experience freedom. The punishment for our sins was fully satisfied in Jesus; God is not sending any more punishment our way. Every thought of guilt or condemnation comes from the enemy, not from God.
We have the right, through Jesus, to be free from sickness, pain, and suffering. Our role is to agree with God’s Word, to speak it over our lives, and to resist the enemy’s lies. As we do, we begin to reign over the things that once reigned over us, putting sickness and pain under our feet, and living in the freedom Jesus purchased for us.
Isaiah 53:4-5 (ESV) — > Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.
Matthew 8:16-17 (ESV) — > That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”
1 Peter 2:24 (ESV) — > He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
Not only do we get to go to heaven when we leave here, but while we live here, we can live free from sickness. We can resist whatever the devil puts on us. [00:32:34] (15 seconds) #LiveFreeFromSickness
We are bound or freed by the way we think. That's why Jesus. Jesus said that you'll know the truth and the truth will set you free. But it's when the enemy can get us thinking wrong that he can keep us. He can keep us bound. [00:33:21] (21 seconds) #FreedomThroughTruth
It is human nature because of the voice of the enemy speaking to you to try. He's trying to convince you there's a reason for you to be sick. Who sinned? Was it him? Or was it his parents? Somebody caused this to come on him. And the devil's going to convince you. He's going to work hard. When he puts something on you. He's going to work real hard to convince you that this. There's a reason why this ought to stay on you. [00:40:28] (40 seconds) #EnemyLiesAboutSickness
Jesus did not come to justify sickness and condemn people. Let that sink in. See if there's a reason why it ought to stay on you. That means you're condemned. That means that you've been found guilty of something. You've been judged and this is your punishment. [00:42:30] (25 seconds) #JesusCondemnsSickness
It doesn't matter who sinned. It doesn't matter why it came or how it came. It doesn't matter whose fault it was. It doesn't matter if it was due to a car wreck or if you received it somehow through childbearing or whether there was a drunk driver or whether it was a fight in a bar or if it was something you inherited. It doesn't matter why it came. It doesn't matter whether you sinned or your parents sinned or your grandparents sinned. Pain, sickness, weakness, infirmity. It has to leave you. It has to leave you. Because Jesus is lord of your healing. [00:43:48] (48 seconds) #SicknessMustGo
What that means is Jesus didn't come to justify sickness. He came to justify you. He came to justify your life. That you, you have a right to be free. You have a right to be healed. You have a right to be delivered. You have a right. Right to be pain free. You have the right to be free from suffering. [00:46:56] (20 seconds) #RightToBeFree
If because of what Jesus did for me, I don't deserve to go to hell, then I don't deserve to be sick either, right? If because of what Jesus did for me, I don't deserve to go to hell, I don't deserve to be punished. I don't deserve to be in hell, then I don't deserve to be sick either. [00:51:02] (23 seconds) #NoDeservedSickness
God saw the torment of Jesus soul on the cross and God was satisfied. In other words, God is not sending any punishment after you. God's not sending anybody after you. God's not sending any curse to punish you. God's not sending the tormentors or the avengers or the executioners after you. God is satisfied. Justice is satisfied. Righteousness is satisfied. Is satisfied. He sees the labor of his soul and he is satisfied. The books have been closed on your case. [00:51:49] (48 seconds) #GodIsSatisfied
Every thought that makes you feel that some reason you're guilty. That's the devil accusing you. He is the accuser of the brethren and he's accusing you not to God. Because God has closed the book. God is seeing. He's looking at the blood. But the question is, what are you looking at? Are you looking at your symptoms or are you looking at the blood? [00:52:46] (23 seconds) #RejectTheAccuser
