#RestoredAndRenewed
“``You know, here, we have a man whom society had entirely written off. Consider as lost cause, a gone case. Yet Jesus intentionally crossed stormy seas to save one man that's trapped in the tomb. Satan tried to destroy the man, but Jesus came to deliver him. And by the power of his word, he cast out the demons and set the man free. The man who was formerly tormented now experiences a beautiful and total restoration. And Mark records for us, sitting there clothed and in his right mind.”

#ProtectGodsImage
“You see, Satan hates God, but he can't do anything directly to God. So what does he do next? He attacks the closest thing to god he can get. Those who bears god's image as humans. And Satan runs around looking for every image of god he can ruin. So he leads people to, inflict self harm like this man has done, and he leads them to abuse their body through addictions like drugs and alcohol. And he directs them to self harm, destructive thought patterns like undulating bitterness, regrets, unforgiveness, or he may even lead them to the path of good works and self righteousness so that they can be separated from god.”

#MercyAndGrace
“You know, Jesus himself was the instrument of the healing for the demon possessed man. No way could a man do anything to save himself from such a predicament. That blessing came to him was very much the mercy from the lord. And Jesus's miraculous healing on casting the demons out of this unnamed man, was a powerful demonstration of the grace of God. God's overflowing love to one who does not deserve it and has no grounds to ask for it, but God was there to save him.”

#FreedomInChrist
“You know, the demon's goal was to control the human they inhibit. Jesus' goal was to give people freedom from sin and Satan's control. And nothing could stop Jesus from coming to the graveyard and brought that man to destruction. And nothing could say could keep Jesus from taking us out from the deepest brokenness and to come to whatever chaos that's in our life. You know, then this man seems to beg Jesus to go back to the boat with Jesus, which is completely understandable request because he wants to stay with the one who have healed him. But Jesus says, no. He go back. And the man obeys and did precisely, went home and confessed that Jesus is lord who has done all these great things for him.”
