51s
“And then I guess one day it clicked for me is, yeah, that's the point. That's the point. Because you and I sitting here this morning are keepers of a blessing that we surely don't deserve. Do you think you deserve the son of God coming down and giving his life for you? I know I don't. Do we think we deserve God being part of our lives every day and taking care of us? I I don't. Do we think we deserve to be part of a group of believers who stand by each other and and work together and strive together to do what's right? I I don't. We are undeserving people who have been given a blessing.”

“It wasn't until Jacob realized he couldn't win the physical fight anymore. His leg was shattered. And he finally admitted who he was with all of his shortcomings, and he started realizing who was in control. And and I guess I just have this picture in my mind. He he's leaning on God as he wrestles with him because his leg is shattered. He's there on one leg propped up leaning on God and finally God says, now you have the blessing. Blessing comes when we stop wrestling and start submitting to God.”
39s
“Jesus's wounds were evidence of our blessing, and Jacob's limp was an evidence of god blessing him. Every step that he took for the rest of his life that was filled with pain, he remembered that God had blessed him. Jacob went on after this to be everything for the nation of Israel. His name was Israel. He was God's chosen. He had 12 sons that became the 12 tribes. I mean, his life was was evidence of of God's blessing.”
