#StrengthThroughSuffering
“When grief and suffering show themselves to you, do you carry them as our savior did? He bore our sin and blamed not anyone. He neither shrunk from them nor did he allow them to sink him. No shrink, no sink. When difficulties arise, who do you look to blame? Can you take a different approach in seeking god's wisdom to help you overcome, to endure and trust him more? Jesus never tired. In fact, he did the exact opposite. He gained strength from his trials.”

#BringYourBaggage
“You and I never come to our suffering empty handed. In other words, we always drag a bag full of experiences and expectations, assumptions, perspectives, desires, intentions. Our lives are simply shaped by not just what we suffer, but what we bring to our suffering. What you think about yourself, what you think about life, certainly what you think about God and others will profoundly affect the way you think about, interact with, and respond to the difficulty that comes your way. And you know what I said, not if, but when.”
