39s
“How are we secure? We have been ransomed. The price has been paid. We are brought on this highway of holiness and we will never go astray because Jesus shed his blood to pay our debt, to make us clean, to clothe us in his righteousness. Not just to make a way for us to try, open the door that we can attempt, but he has clothed us with his own righteousness.”
47s
“Church, the the the world needs to see a people of faith who aren't destroyed by the brokenness of this world because we know that Jesus will make all things new. The greatest hope for Elgin and for Beirut are people who have been renewed by the gospel and who live as if the promises of the gospel are real. Friends, what we believe is important because it directly affects how we live. And a clear vision of the end, even though the circumstances, in the present may not change, will bear fruit in our lives today.”
53s
“But how? How do we do that? What are we to say to one another? What can strengthen weak hands and make firm knees, firm the feeble knees? Is is there something that we can offer within ourselves? What do we see in the text? Behold your God. Did you see that in verse four? Behold, your God will come. He will save you. These are the words that are being spoken to one another. This is our hope as we journey. We are strengthened today when we look forward to the salvation of God.”
