#NotPlayingChurch
“And that's what I want us to understand this morning, because I want us to not be people who play church on Sunday and think that it overrides how we live the rest of our week. That's good. Because hear me clearly. There is no amount of worship that can drown out the sound of habitual disobedience and unrepentance. You can worship as loud as you want. You can pray as loud as you want. You can come to 16,000 altar calls and cry as many tears as you want. None of it will drown out the reality of a habitual, disobedient, and unrepentant life. I”

#RepentanceBringsPardon
“He's already been speaking to them over four kings. And yet, and still, before it is time to actually bring the sword one more time, talk about the patience and grace of God. One more time, he says, I'm gonna give you one more chance. Turn, repent, and you will eat the best of the land. But if you continue in this path, the sword is at the door. The heart of God towards those who repent is to pardon. And I want us to remember that.”

#NoLipServiceRepentance
“God is not the God that calls you to repent and then you repent. He'd be like, no, I'm cool. He's not tricking you. His heart is all I want you to do is repent. Right? All I know you're not gonna get it right. I know you're not gonna get it perfect, but all I want you to do is to acknowledge your wrong and repent. And when you do that, genuinely do that. I will Yeah. Pardon you. I will forgive you. But if you just come and do a lip service because somebody told you that's what you knowing that you have no desire to actually he says, then what's waiting for you is the sword until you repent.”
