“``Right? Here's the thing. If if Jesus Christ is not Lord, then it's all a sham. If He's not God, it's all fake. We cannot walk away believing that He's simply a good moral teacher. Okay? Because either He's crazy or He's a liar or He's right. Those are our only options. So you can leave here today and you may think that Jesus was crazy man or his followers put these words in his mouth that the words that are in red, he didn't really write them or say them. You may think he was a really, really good liar. He knew he wasn't God, but he said anyway. Or you may believe that I as I hope you will, that Jesus was, in fact, God. Because here's the thing, he was either divine, he was either deranged, or he was deceitful. It's gotta be one of the three. He's either a liar, he's either a lunatic, or he is lord of all. And folks, I'm telling you today, he is the king of kings. He is lord of lords. You can put your trust in him.”

“The Bible records an amazing progression. What was a distant relationship that was experienced through burning bushes. We have messengers coming to us called angels speaking on behalf of God. There's prophets. There's priests. This all culminated in the ultimate act of self revelation, and that was God becoming flesh and blood. That was humanity seeing, walking, talking with the Lord for the first time. And in Jesus Christ, the word had become flesh and dwelt among us. He who made humans experienced personally what it was like to be part of humanity. And through the birth of Jesus, our relationship with God drastically changed. God came near to us, and your promise today is that his spirit can dwell within you. It can live inside you because Jesus Christ was God manifest on Earth.”

“We have a host of examples in this room. We've got living proof here today. We celebrate the miracles of Jesus, and we know that as followers that He says we can lay hands on the sick. We can do these things and God can be glorified through us. So, so I say all that to say we know that miracles don't necessarily prove that Jesus was God. I don't want to tear down your faith, but but just I want to be honest. I want to be intellectually honest. He did all these miracles, but that didn't mean that He was God necessarily because guess what? His followers did that after Him too. But let me tell you what definitively proved that He was God because there's only one example of this. There's one supernatural event. No other holy man, no other prophet, no other good person has ever done this. That one supernatural event, that one miracle that uniquely proclaims that Jesus is God, that is the miracle of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”

“Jesus was crucified. He died a horrible, undeserved death on the cross. He was really dead. He was in the tomb three days, but on the third day, he rose from the dead. Actually, scripture says he raised himself up. So yes, we have examples throughout scripture. We have examples even in the world today, especially on mission fields. You'll see that somebody may pass away and people will pray and, but he raised himself up from the grave. There's no other. There's no other king. There's no other good preacher, teacher, no other holy man that has done that. That is the definitive. That is the capstone miracle of Christianity.”
