81s
“And ladies and gentlemen, the question maybe it should not be, is god enough? But maybe the question ought to be, are we doing enough to show that god is still alive? Are our lives exemplifying the life of God because you do understand that you have to live your life as though your life is a bible because your life might be the only bible that somebody ever read. And my question to you is if people were to look at you, what would they see? Would they see a person that's closer to Satan or a person that's closer to God? Because you know we can say things, but we don't do what we say. So are you just talking the talk are you walking the walk? I'm preaching good.”

“Y'all watch this. Jesus did not say, let them hear your good intentions. Let them hear a great sermon from you, pastor Epps. He says, but let them see your good works. Y'all watch this. James two seventeen. James two seventeen says, faith by itself if it is not accompanied action, faith is what? Are never saved by what you do. But when you are saved, it shows in what you do. And that's not again putting money in church. As a matter of fact, can I tell you? You do that out of obedience, not out of show.”
58s
“So my platform in the pulpit is not to point to me, but it's to point bypass me. Be the light that reflects him so you can hear me, but you see him. Don't worry about me because if you follow me, I'm a tell you every now and then I might take you down the road. And you're gonna figure out you should've detoured long time ago. You you can't follow me. But as long as I am following the light, can follow the light because the light leads to life.”
70s
“And people should not have to wonder if the people of God love because they ought to see the love of God in you on a daily basis. Listen. He says that we are the salt of the earth. Y'all listen. Salt preserves. Salt seasons. Salt influences absolutely everything that it touches. And if we are salt, our lives as disciples, as believers, as Christians should influence the world by displaying the character of Christ. And before people our doctrine, they should experience our love.”
