Regardless of our political leanings, we must come together in prayer for peace and protection. Only God can save and protect us, and it is our duty to continually seek His intervention in our nation's affairs. By doing so, we acknowledge our dependence on God and our desire for His peace to reign in our land. [31:33]

Jeremiah 29:7 (ESV): "But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare."
