34s
“Not for God to just be our personal, like, servant, like, here, God, you do this for me, and now you do this for me. No. It's to align ourselves under God's will. What do you want from me, God? What mission do you have for me? Who do you want me to share my faith with, God? Who do you want me to be kind to? Who do you want me to to love? Who do you want me to forgive? God, what is your will for my life? What do you want for me? I I know I have my own plans, God, but what are your plans? I'm gonna trust your plans because they're better than my own.”
33s
“And that's true. Be a good person, treat people kindly, and guess what? It'll create good feelings maybe about you from that person, and then hopefully, you can share the good news. That includes neighbors, coworkers, teammates. That's a good thing. But I'm telling you, there's a missing component that's secret and hidden in there that we didn't put, and that's prayer. You gotta pray for your neighbor. You gotta pray for them and ask God to speak to their heart. And so we have a brand new app that we're introducing to you today.”
35s
“God's already at work. You're not trying to, like, muster up things for God to do or think about doing. God's already at work. He's waiting for you to join him. And the way you join him is by denying yourself and saying, okay, God, here it is. Here's my life, man. Here here's I'm praying to you, God. What do you want me to do? Where do you want me to be? Who do you want me to share my faith with? What sin do you want me to stop? What what habit do you want me to begin? What do you want for me, God? And it happens through prayer.”
