#GraceBridges
“``Jesus Christ died and took away our sin. He took away any fears or anything that is a blockage for us. These insecurities we now face in our life towards community and towards God and even within ourself are now no longer to be used as blockages, but rather to be used as the bridges to help strengthen towards one another. God's grace, his holy spirit have come to fill us, to do supernatural works within us for the sake of the body, not for our own sake, but for God's.”

#FailForward
“Failure isn't final. It doesn't mean the end, full stop. If you are to invite someone to church and they don't come, that's not the final end of it. Yeah. You know, you might be a bit hurt. Seek God and his support. Gather people around you to pray with you, and then ask again in due time. Fail forward towards God's plan, and he will establish your steps as you move with him.”

#MadeOnPurpose
“God has created each and every one of us on purpose, with purpose, for a purpose. And once, I was called out and convicted about trying to be like Zach, trying to be like someone else, comparing myself to someone else, I went to God and I went to others. I lowered this bridge and used the vulnerability, the weaknesses that I had to seek trusted people to speak into my life, go back to God's word to read who he's called me to go, back to God to remember who I am.”

#VulnerabilityConnects
“This means that we don't need to close off towards God being afraid because he loves us. He loves you so much that he wants you to be in a closer relationship with him. And out of that, out of the love that God has for us, he wants us to emulate that to one another in community. He wants us to go out and share the good news, to invite others into spaces that he is in, to engage in community connected together, not just based on our appearance, not based on what we can see of each other, but on the vulnerability and the insecurities, allowing God into those spaces to made perfect in our weakness so that we can be strengthened out of that and connect deeper with others.”

#ImperfectHospitality
“It's having people over for dinner even though the house might be messy or you haven't had time to prepare something beautiful. And even though it's been a busy week, but God prompted you to connect with another person or another couple. It's allowing him to show up and be part of the conversation. Because in all truth, his way, his strength, and his power is so much better than our own, that when we are weak, we allow him to enter in into our insecurities and to be our strength.”

#LetGodWork
“But when we let this drawbridge down, when we know that in our weakness, God is our strength, allowing God to work in our insecurities, needing God to show up, then God can be present to do amazing things. And within our community and with our connection, it means seeing God work in ways we'd never thought possible.”
28s
#TurnWallsIntoBridges
“We can get defensive. We can pull the drawbridge up, and it's like a wall stopping others from coming in and entering in or people going out. But also, it can lower down and become a bridge allowing things to come out and things to come in. Our insecurities can be that wall blocking us from connecting with God and other people, but it can also be the extension made so that other people can come and go and God can enter in.”

#YouAreNotAlone
“You are not alone in this. If you fail, find someone else to support you in your load. Invite people, connect with someone new, and you don't know how to do that. Find someone who's great at that and invite them into that conversation with you. If you need support, ask a leader to pray for you or get people who are gifted in these areas to teach you and help you. You don't need to do this alone.”
