#FromDarknessToLight
“you don't fully understand what's happening right now, but you feel this pool in your life. You feel this tug. This Jesus that paid this price for me is coming after me. And I feel this pull today that I need to step into this for the very first time. I need to say yes to Jesus for the very first time because here's what happens is when you say yes to Jesus, you now walk from darkness into light. You now have found new life in Christ, which means the old is gone. What was is completely gone. You are made brand new with a new purpose, a new vision, a new focus in life, and he is there with you every step of the way because you are his, bought, and paid for at the cross. Jesus said, you are mine forevermore.”

#LiveInGodsGoodness
“Like, may that be your heart today. When you destroy this idol, may your spouse look over at you and go, you just killed an idol today, didn't you? And you just, like, I can't help it. I can't help it. I got god's goodness in my life. I got god's faithfulness in my life. Yeah. I know the bills ain't paid yet. I get it. Car needs an oil change. I understand. Kids are going crazy losing their minds. I get it. But my god, I've got a God who is after me, and I just wanna be Lord, come on. I just wanna be after you. I wanna be in that place where I keep praising you, and I don't let idols get in your way because I don't wanna have to keep destroying things that you've already paid the price for, that you've already destroyed. So, father, come and move, come and do what only you can do.”

#RecognizeAndConfess
“I say that not for my glory. I say that to help us all understand God's goodness. in the lowest, darkest moments of your life, God still has a plan. God still has a purpose. And yes, it's hard. And yes, you have to trust the process. You've got to recognize the idol because there's gonna be a cost when you destroy that idol. Because God's already paid the price for you, but there's gonna be a cost to destroy the idol. The second thing you gotta do is you've gotta confess it. So number one, we gotta recognize it. Number two, we gotta confess it. You gotta speak it out your mouth.”

#GodIsMyProvider
“And after years of believing that I didn't matter, that I would not have enough, my mindset had completely shifted that, here's the thing, from my dependency onto fully God's dependency. And God told me, I'm gonna give you a job, but I need you to understand the job is not your provider. The job is the the way I provide for you. It's a resource that I give you. The things that he gives you are for your good. Yes. Absolutely. They're for your benefit. To have a job, you have to have a job, you gotta pay the bills. Unfortunately, electric bill doesn't take prayer anymore. I wish it did. Come on somebody. They don't take prayer anymore. I mean, kinda they do. But the point was, God was telling me that I am your provider alone. And that was my idol.”

#ModernIdolsExposed
“In the modern, this is what an idol can look like. It can be self crafted identity, social media. I build my own brand. I am my own person. It can be working for the overtime hours on a consistent basis because you feel like you'll never get ahead or never be enough. It could be trusting the emergency fund more than believing that God who said I will provide will provide. And they all are different in the way they look, but they all share very similar functions. They are to seek self worth through my own creation. They are to totally, to create total security against all unknowns. They are made to help me belong, to walk in my own righteousness, and to have my own identity.”

#RevivalStartsWithRecognition
“We all have idols we have created, And the way that we start revival is by laying down the idols and surrendering it back to him. So how do we lay them down and keep them down? Here's the first thing you gotta do. The first thing you gotta do is you have to recognize it. You have to recognize it. Any program in this world where you go for help and ask for help, the first thing they're always gonna tell you is you've gotta see it.”

#TrustGodsPlans
“when you say yes to God, the price has already been paid. He says, just come freely as you are. And I love you, and I got plans. I got purpose for you, y'all. He's got dreams and visions for you that you can't even begin to imagine. But we would rather spend our time, myself included, we would rather spend our time worried about the things that are of today, of this moment, than I would have. God, what's your best for me? What do you have for me? I know what I can do in my own hands, and I'm gonna tell you right now, it ain't much. I can only get so far.”

#TrueDiscipleship
“Christianity is not a free pass to do whatever we want to do. Saying yes to Jesus is not a free pass to do whatever you want to do. when you say yes to God, the price has already been paid. I know what I can do in my own hands, and I'm gonna tell you right now, it ain't much.”
