But good things become idols when they become the source of identity, provision, or control.

Exodus 20 reveals a jealous God, not jealous in a petty way, but impassioned because He loves what belongs to Him. The enemy offers what feels good right now, but every yes to the enemy comes with a cost. Jesus already paid the cost for every person who says yes to God. Jesus does not promise a trouble-free life, but He invites people to come freely, trust Him fully, and receive the plans and purpose He has already prepared.

Revival starts when idols come down. Recognition comes first, because people cannot surrender what they refuse to see. Confession brings hidden trust into the light and admits that God alone is the provider. Crucifixion means complete destruction, not managing an idol or keeping it nearby for later.
