#YouAreChosen
“But I'm telling you church, Jesus stands here today at the gates of Hades with you. In the shadow of every false god, in the face of every lie, he stands there and he says, you are chosen. You are forgiven. You are beloved, and you are his. You are someone that he can build his church upon to go out and be the disciples until every tribe and tongue has heard. And the gates of Hades will not prevail against you.”

#BornNewPurpose
“And he says, because of your faith, Simon Bar Jonah, you are no longer your past. You are no longer what you identify yourself as. But now I'm telling you, you are Peter. I'm going to show you why I made you. I'm going to show you who I knew you were before I even knitted you in your mother's womb. I'm going to show you what your purpose in life is in the kingdom of god. And this is still the true saying for you today. You are no longer your past. You're no longer your failures. You're no longer your addictions, your titles. As a child of God, you were born new. are now what he calls you. You are now to carry out his purpose for your life.”

#GodMeetsDarkness
“See, the reason I wanna paint that picture is because some of us believe today that god can't meet you in your darkness. Some of you believe today that you're too far gone. Some of you believe today that you're too unworthy. God's not afraid of your darkness. He's not afraid of the gates of hell. Amen. God is gonna come to you in the very place that you are today and ask you that question, who do you say that he is?”

#IdentityInChrist
“The world says that you are your worst moment. It reminds you of your biggest failure. It reminds you of your deepest wounds. But your identity in Christ and who Christ says you are is the antidote to every single one of those lies the world has told you. The world has been lying to you your whole life. It's been telling you you're not smart enough. Oh, you don't know the bible well enough. You can't be saved. You don't know the bible well enough.”

#KnowTheFatherKnowYou
“See, but today, each and every single one of us would be lying to ourselves if we said we didn't have a moment where we were looking everywhere, everywhere, trying to answer that question of who am I, Trying to answer your own question of who you are, your personal identity. But see, Jesus flips that whole thing. He says, world, don't worry about what the world says you are. Don't worry about who you say you are. But first, I'm gonna tell you who you are. But first, you have to answer the most important question. You have to identify who I am to you. Because church, you can truly never know who you are and your identity until you truly know the father.”

#PersonalFaithAnswer
“See, nobody can answer this question for you. Not your mom, not your dad, not your spouse, not your worship leader, not your youth pastor, not your Sunday school pastor, not your deacon, not the senior pastor, nobody. It has to come from you. A personal, personal answer to a very personal question. And see, Jesus looks at his disciples and he asked each and every one of them, who do you say that I am?”

#ChurchBuiltOnFaith
“here, Jesus had already gave him the name Peter. He's just reidentifying that, hey, you were Simon Bar Jonah. And now now that you have confessed, the first one to confess that I am the Christ, that I am the Messiah, that I am the living God, I now am going to give you an I new identity. That means rock. And study this. It does not mean that that the church was built upon Peter. It means that the church was built upon the faith that Peter had, which the rock is Jesus Christ himself. That is what the church is built on.”

#SpiritRevealsChrist
“And for sake of time, I won't dig into this, but I ask you guys to please go and look at for the flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my father who is heaven. And what I want you to understand there is it doesn't matter how much you study. It doesn't matter if you have a doctrine, a degree, and divinity, or if you've never opened a book. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. You cannot reveal to yourself who Jesus Christ is. The father reveals through the holy spirit of who Jesus Christ is, your lord and savior. There's nothing you can do.”
