“That's the very best identity. See see, I I I wish I had time to tell you all the things, but let me tell you this. When you are in Christ, the Bible says you no longer are, estranged. Now you're adopted. You were dead. Now you're alive. You were far away. Now you've been brought near. You were in darkness. Now you're light. You were condemned. Now there's no condemnation. You were alienated, now you're reconciled. You were enslaved, now you're set free. You once were not a people, now you are the people of God. You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world. You are chosen. You are appointed. You are chosen by God to turn this world upside down. This isn't just hyped up speech. This is what the Bible says about you. Now believe God, and God will come to you as righteousness.”

“Number one is receive what the father says. How do we live free? We receive what father says. Before I can know who I am, I need to know who he is. That's why this is so important for you to catch Mark chapter one. Our culture might say to me, man, you just need to be confident in yourself. And I would say, I get it, man. Moms and dads, we want our kids to have self esteem. But, church, here's your self esteem. My life is hidden with Christ and God. That's my self esteem. I'm in Christ. I'm in Christ.”

“But God does something way better than that. Put the next slide up there if you would, please. What God says is when he's doing this, God says be and then receive, realize that you're beloved, and then do. Now now just contrast these two things because when you're looking at this, what God says is something that is so much better. This means you do not obey so that you can become something. Once you've become something, now you can obey. You're not performed so that you can somehow get something back from God. You perform because this is who you are. Beloved, if you belong to Jesus Christ, you've got the very nature of God that has altered your spiritual DNA. This is who you are.”
