#LeadByExampleFaith
“They wanna be able to see how you handle anger, how you emotionally respond. They wanna be able to see how you deal with financial struggle in their lives in in in rough seasons. They wanna be able to see how you talk to your spouse each and every day, how you're loving your spouse. They wanna be able to see how you're dealing with sickness in family directly or somebody else. Are you praying? You stopped going to church because it's not convenient. We don't have time for it. Your kids need you more than anything else to show them how to have a relationship with God.”

#KidsNeedLeaders
“The Lord wants you to talk about his word with your children. There's core there's core memories that they will have. Whether you're a first young, parent in here or or not parent yet or an older parent, parent of teenagers. Listen. Your kids don't need another sermon. You don't have to create this huge bible story. They want a leader. want a leader in their parents. They want you to be able to lead by example. And believe it or not, they want structure. They want consistency.”

#TrustGodNotAnxiety
“With anxiety, God made the earth. He made everything. But the other cool thing is and I used Isaiah I mean, I used Elijah Brasher back there, but I'm I'm gonna use I'm gonna use Lila Hargrove in this. He knew exactly where she was sitting today. He knew what clothes she would be wearing, what hair color she has, what eye color she has, what face she's making right now. He knew that. He knows everything. And so when you have anxiety, you're going against what God already knows. He knows what's gonna happen in your day. He's going to provide for you. But when you have anxiety, you go against what the Lord has for you. He knows what's gonna happen.”

#TeachThemToPray
“I love what you said there when you talked about, your parents making sure you understood how important it is that you have the relationship with God. Parents, as much as you try or want to, you cannot have the relationship for them. Right? You have to teach them how to connect with the father themselves. And I think a lot of Christians I grew up in church my whole life. I saw a lot of Christians coming to church and want the pastor to have the relationship. No. You're the one who's close. No. It's you. It's your job. It's you. It's it's our, we have the opportunity, the amazing opportunity to have that relationship ourselves, and it's so important. Freya, want you to follow-up with that.”

#ArmorOfTruthAndFaith
“So the belt of truth, what does it do? Well, it's it's the belt of truth. So with the belt of truth, it blocks all lies or it stops lies. So when you put on the belt of truth, you're the lies coming from the devil saying, oh, you're this or your identity is this or because you're anxious or you're angry, this is who you are. But the belt of truth stops that. The shield of faith. So whenever you if you hold up a shield to an arrow, what happens? The shield blocks the arrow or the shield blocks the attack. Your faith stops. So you already have the belt of truth on, and you have faith stopping attacks already coming.”

#MakeCoreMemories
“Parents, I want you to understand this, and I know that I have four kids myself, so I know we have a limited time, a limited time. That's alright. Just kinda squeeze on in. Limited time with our kids. I know it seems long. Right? Eighteen years. But in the span of the lifetime, it's a limited time. And some of those years, they really were the hero. They really wanna be with us. And some of the time, they kinda wanna start to get out on their own and kinda get that independence. But there are core memory. Teach them in the ways, and they will not depart from it.”

#LoveIsAction
“when I was trying to answer this question, I went back and forth a lot because I was like, there's a lot of things I could talk about because I have a lot of opinions, some of which are not always the best. But, you know, it always came down to you need to love your kid. And you could have, like, a family who's, like, going through the most worst terrible thing ever, or you could have a family who's, like, you know, living your life, and you struggle with anger every now and then. what it really comes down to is is do you really try and make an effort to love your kid? And I was talking to a friend after first service, and they were like, you should really, like, clarify what you mean by love your kid. And, I believe that love isn't a feeling, but it's an action. And that action changes depending on, you know, what situation you're in, but you choose to love your kid.”

#ParentingIsGrowth
“``So one one thing I feel like, I didn't say this in the first service. I would just wanna tell you right now. First off, I want every parent to look at me right now. First off, you're not a failure. I want you to understand that. If there's anybody ever thinking, oh, I'd I'd messed up, you're not the fail you're not a failure and a parent. Are there things that maybe you could have done differently or wrong way? Of course. But today's a new day. Today's a fresh time to be able to show them. Students, I want you to understand this as well. Your parents, guess what? As they've had you and raised you, they're growing as well. Can you believe it? They're growing as parents. They're growing as people. It's the first time they've gone through something like this, taking care of another human being, understanding their marriage and their spouse and their relationship with God. So there's gotta be some patience on both ends. Amen?”
