#FaithAndWorry
“``Tell me this, church. Do you believe that more than two thousand years ago, Jesus of Nazareth walked on this earth perfectly? He preached. He taught. He healed. He he did all of these things, made all these things, went to the cross, died for your sin. You'll put your faith and trust in him, and you are saved and secure and promised a home in heaven forever and ever and ever. Yes, preacher. I believe that. But you know I got some financial worries right now that I don't know God can handle. I got a relationship issue right now. My last doctor's report wasn't all that great. And you know this might be the thing that God just can't do.”

#LiveSupernatural
“``But it's tough. It goes against everything that comes natural to us. But for every born again, blood bought child of God, none of us are called to do what comes natural. All of us are called to do what comes supernatural. Pride is natural. Humility is supernatural. Pride is easy. Humility is hard. We appreciate it in others, but we don't always pursue it the way that we should.”

#WorshipGodNotStuff
“``Humility comes from you and I not just looking to God for the answers he could give to prayer or the miracles he can perform, but looking to God for who he is. He is God and there is no other being better for me to spend my time with or better for me to serve or better for me to follow. He is God and I want God for God, not the stuff of God.”

#CastAnxietiesOnGod
“``It takes humility to take all stuff and just cast it Pride holds on to it. This is my problem, and it is a massive, massive problem. And I'm worried about it, and I'm anxious about it, and I'm dealing with it, and I'm battling it, and I'm up at night with it because I I just I don't know if there's help out there. Humble yourself before God, casting all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.”

#RightEstimationBeforeGod
“``See, humility is you understanding something. I I I found this definition kinda late in the game, but but I wrote it down. It says this, humility a right estimation of yourself before God that produces a willingness to submit to God and not exalt yourself. when things get bad, when when things kind of head south, it is very very easy and very very likely that we will stray from our lane. And what I mean by that is we will stray from the lane of creation and we'll start to meddle in the lane of creator.”

#StayInCreationLane
“``Call it what you will. Call it something above your pay grade. Call it outside the chain of command. Call it what you want but when we begin to wander outside our lane, humility is often the first thing smacked by oncoming traffic. The Psalmist says like, my eyes they're they're not lifted up too high. They're lifted up but they're not lifted up too high. And I am not talking about. I am not weighing in on. I am not diving into things quote too great or too much for me.”

#GrowYourSoul
“``Let me ask you a question. When it comes to your soul, are you working on it? Are you are you growing? Are are you maturing? Living things grow. Healthy things grow. That's that's what happens. So when it comes to your soul, it's if you are born again, it's been saved. It's been taken care of. But but in response to that, what have you done for your soul? Have you calmed and quieted it trusting in God through humility in whatever problem whatever issue you're dealing with?”

#HumilityIsCounterCultural
“``Here's why. Psalm one thirty one, This Psalm of ascent carries with it the message humility. That's a long lesson to learn. Primarily because everything we're going to read and everything we're going to look at today is so going to cut against the grain of what comes natural to us. Every fiber in our being screams to go against what we're about to read. We we appreciate humility in other people. We exalt those and we brag on those who are known as individuals of humility. We we admire this trait in others but when it comes to ourselves, we fight against humility with every fiber of our being.”
