#StillnessInPrayer
“``See, prayer is is not just give me, give me, give me. God, I got my list here. Give me, give me, God, got it, Prayer is I come close enough to my creator and I become still enough, which is very uncomfortable for us. We don't we we're not comfortable with stillness in our own skin and in the presence of god. But when we do, God can finally start to reveal himself and reveal truth and balance our perspective, and it's a transforming experience.”

#PeaceInGodsProcess
“``but I trust in your unfailing love, the lights went on and all of a sudden David feels very differently. He's now confident, he's now secure, he's now completely comfortable with God's process though he doesn't like the circumstance he's in. He's hiding in a cave running for his life and he's gonna be running for his life probably for another seven years. But he's at home now with with the Lord and that allows him to be at home in his own skin, in his own circumstances.”

#InGodsWill
“``So all of a sudden, when you're in the center of god's will, everything just flows. Well, he did escape the spear. So then he sends his soldiers. He's living with Michal, his wife, the daughter of Saul, he sends his soldiers, go get David, arrest him, and kill him. And so now David has to run for his life. He has to leave his new wife. He has to leave his wonderful position leading the troops of God. He's a fugitive whose life is hanging by a thread. Now, it is very difficult to establish the time frame in this, but it is anywhere from eight to as much as ten to twelve years that he is on the run living like a fugitive. But when you're in the will of god, everything just flows. It just goes perfect. Everything falls into place.”

#LongingForEden
“``How long? Now I wanna wanna tell you something secret. This how long thing, it's attached to something deeply spiritual and even ancient. It it goes beyond whatever is happening in our past or what was happening in our past or what's happening in our present. It goes back to ancient, the most ancient roots of our our soul. It goes literally back to Eden. It goes back to that time when humanity for at least a short period of time lived in perfection. A perfect relationship with God face to face, a perfect environment, perfect relationships with one another.”

#GodWithUs
“``How long? How long? How long? It might be you today. It might be any of us tomorrow. Probably will be all of us at some time. How long? We've got to remind ourselves simple truths. God's with me. God's for me. God loves me. He proved that by going to a cross, allowing himself to be brutally mocked, humiliated, and murdered to let us know how much he loves us, how completely we can trust him in every circumstance, whether it's one we choose or one we would rather not have. How long? As long as a loving God knows we need. He's training us. He's developing us. He's with us. He's for us. He will never forsake us.”

#TrustHisTiming
“``Here's the answer. Remember I promised you an answer? Because some of you right now, man, you're you're you're you're in pain. I know it. I've been there. I I I I kinda stay there for to to tell the truth. Not one second longer or one second shorter than God's perfect love and wisdom determines. That's where we gotta stay. It's all about trust. It's all about trusting God. You, I, we, we're we're we're not we're not gonna be in this how long any longer than what god knows is necessary for his purposes for our life.”

#EmotionsAreServants
“``Emotions are good, what? Servants. Servants, but poor, what? Leaders. Now our society encourages us, man, just follow your heart, Just just follow your feelings. If if you feel it, just do it. You know? It's your truth. Live your truth. But what if your truth is idiotic? if your truth is a lie? Okay. What if your truth is just concocted and it's going to ultimately bring more trouble than good?”

#CoworkersWithGod
“``I said it earlier, what if god actually intends for us to be his elite coworkers in bringing other human beings into his kingdom while we are doing the things that are necessary to be done as human beings. But but our prime goal is to become more like Christ every day that we can and then to bring as many others into the family of God as we come. What if that's our elite calling and the training are all these ups and downs and ins and outs and comforts and discomforts that we experience in life?”
