Building on a strong foundation means prioritizing our relationship with Jesus and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and transform us.

This requires intentionality and a willingness to make sacrifices for the sake of our spiritual growth. It means choosing to invest our time and energy in things that have eternal value, such as prayer, studying the Word, and serving others. When we build on the foundation of Jesus with materials that withstand fire, we are preparing ourselves to stand firm in the face of trials and challenges. [54:53]

Day 5: The Power of the Holy Spirit

When we clear out the sin from our tent and host the Holy Spirit, we experience a freedom that is amazing and powerful. The devil's plan B is to make us so busy that we don't spend time with the Holy Spirit. But we are designed to produce fruit, not to be busy. Focus on the fruit of the Spirit and let the Holy Spirit guide you. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live a life that is pleasing to God and to bear fruit that blesses others.

The fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—are evidence of the Holy Spirit's work in our lives. When we prioritize our relationship with the Holy Spirit and make time to be in His presence, we are transformed from the inside out. This transformation enables us to live in a way that reflects God's character and brings glory to His name. [53:37]
