#NotTheEndYet
“``The disciples thought that the cross, the tomb was the end of the story. It wasn't. Joseph thought that prison was the end of the story. It wasn't. Naomi thought that her loss was the end of the story. It wasn't. Haman's plan to destroy the Jews throughout Susa seemed like the end of the story for them, but it wasn't. And whatever you are facing today, it is not the end of your story either. Because hope says, God is doing something bigger than I can currently understand. God's purposes extend beyond my present circumstances, and because of that, I can keep trusting him.”

#HopeInChrist
“And as incredible as Esther's story is, once again, with all of us, it points us to someone greater, Jesus. Esther risked her life to save her people. Christ gave his life to save us. Christ gave his life to save us. And because of Jesus, our hope is not built on circumstances. Our hope is not built on outcomes. Our hope is not built on whether things are easy. Our hope is built on a risen savior. Our hope is built on the faithfulness of God. We have a living hope as we sang this morning.”

#ActiveHope
“If I die, I die. What a statement. What boldness. If I die, I die. I highly doubt that she had no fear when she said that, but it was hope that gave her courage to do something despite her fear. See, we need to understand that biblical hope is not passive. Hope moves forward because it trusts God. Hope produces action, hope takes the next step, hope obeys, it speaks up, it serves, it risks. Hope believes that God is bigger than the obstacle.”

#PositionedForPurpose
“So what if God has positioned you exactly where you are for a purpose you have not yet seen? What if the season you are in isn't random? What if the waiting isn't wasted? What if God is preparing you? What if he is working behind the scenes right now? What if one day you will look back and realize that what you went through was actually preparation? Church, don't lose hope because the God who was working in Esther's story is still working in yours. When we see God working through the scriptures, be reminded that that same God is working in your life. Your story is in his hands.”
