49s
“Hope is the the the knowledge and the understanding that we can persevere through anything because God is with us through faith. Hope is so much more than optimism. Optimism is temporary. Hope is eternal. Optimism says everything's gonna be fine tomorrow. Okay? Yeah. I'd like to hope that. I'd like to think that. But hope is not that everything will be fine tomorrow. Hope is when things aren't fine tomorrow, I'm still here. God's not done with me. There's still a plan and a purpose for my life that's yet to be fulfilled.”
32s
“True amazement and true beauty and true wonder and true awe does not come from us presenting a version of ourselves that's perfectly put together. It comes when we have the courage to be raw and honest about the struggles we've been through and about how God has brought us through it. There's power in that story. There's hope in that story. And people all over the world are looking for that kind of hope.”
31s
“God doesn't cause it. It's an opportunity for us to reveal a character implanted in us through faith as people of God. And that that that that character comes from that unity with God. Because no matter how bad things are, no matter how dark the valley is, that unity with God through faith is never broken. It's never broken. It's unshakable and unbreakable. And that's what hope is.”
