#RescuedFromAbove
“``See, Jesus didn't just enter the world to help us save ourselves. He entered the world to save us from ourselves. This is God's rescue plan. If you recognize that you are not strong enough, Israel recognized because of the humility they were walking through as to where their hope and help would come from. Had to come from above. That can be a gift that comes with darkness. You need a savior. And because of Jesus, you have one. He didn't enter into the cave to help you dig yourself out of the cave. He came down from the outside to save you. Just like those rescuers of those Chilean miners, Jesus will save you if you choose to have hope in him. That's the meaning of Christianity, Is that someone from up there has come down here to save us. And praise God for that.”

#LetJesusWriteYourStory
“And he's writing your story too. So then we need to turn a new page. Let him write that new page. Your story is not over until he says it's over. And when he says it's over, it's over. Look in dark times, we can't just hope for better circumstances. Can't just wait for the fog to dissolve. We must look to the best king because I hope you hear this real clearly. Your hope is only as good as where it's placed. You can hope in lots of things and lots of people, and you will find yourself very, very disappointed. But if you place your hope in Jesus, in his life, in his death, and in his resurrection, that hope holds up. It holds up.”

#HopeIncarnate
“To see God's truth, power and love are not just ideas or promises. That is weak hope. Concepts, ideas, distance in heaven far away. That is weak hope. God's truth, power, and love are given flesh came to live with us to be our neighbor and to be our Lord. Hope has incarnated, has taken on flesh, has moved in to us, has come to us. See, God didn't just send ideas. God just didn't send words. God sent a child. God sent his son. That's how we have flight. That's how we have joy. That's how we have freedom is because of his grace.”

#PrinceOfPeace
“And the final scripture is that he's the prince of peace. Prince of peace is the ruler whose reign will bring peace, not chaos. This is the appropriate end of the list because he is the king that will not brutally submit the people but because of his leadership, the result will be peace. Not because he can't win war. Again, he's the mighty god but because he is wonderful counselor, mighty god, eternal father, he brings peace. See, peace is not just an idea. Peace is a person. And his name is Jesus.”

#GiftOfGrace
“This is this gift is truly wonderful. It's a gift from god that they do not deserve. The Israeli people, the Jewish, you and I, we do not deserve this gift. There is nothing we have ever done or could ever do in life to deserve this great gift. That's why it's grace. It's the giving of something that we could never deserve. That's what grace is. And Jesus is God's ultimate gift of grace to us.”

#UnfailingDivineLove
“As hard as we might try, God cannot stop loving us. As hard as we may try, god cannot stop loving you. Sometimes his love looks like discipline. Sometimes his love looks like blessing. We see that in Israel, don't we? cannot and will not stop loving you. He will fulfill his promises. In our lives today and for eternity because this is the kingdom that will never end. It will not change in election cycle. We're not changed because of laws that are passed because this will always be a kingdom of justice and a kingdom of righteousness because the king of that kingdom is both just and he is righteous. Jesus”

#LightAlwaysWins
“See, Jesus' arrival and ministry bring light. The people are not responsible for it. They can't generate the light. They could not produce it. This is a gift from God at a time where they really needed it. You see darkness does that, doesn't it? Darkness has a way of projecting itself as being more powerful than it really is. It's like a puffer fish trying to swim in front of a shark. Right? That puffer fish only exists because the shark allows it to. That's the way darkness is. What's the the the little thing that has to take place in order for darkness disappear? What has to happen? A little bit of light appears. Light always trumps darkness.”

#GiftOfDarkness
“That can be the gift of darkness for you. That can be the gift of hard times and fog and difficult circumstances that you can become finally convinced. You don't need someone to help you help yourself. You need someone just to help you get out. They were convinced of this. They knew they could not hope in themselves. They were convinced they could not help themselves. If you have reached that conclusion, then that is a gift from God.”
