Hope and Freedom Through Christ's Forgiveness and Grace
Summary
In today's message, I explored the profound hope that comes from a life anchored in Jesus Christ. Many people today feel hopeless, often overwhelmed by the circumstances around them. However, as believers, we have a unique hope rooted in the forgiveness and grace offered through Christ. This hope begins with the understanding that we are forgiven. Romans 8:1 assures us that there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. This means that despite our imperfections and failures, we are not condemned because Jesus has already paid the penalty for our sins. This forgiveness is not just for past sins but extends to future ones as well, highlighting the boundless grace of God.
Moreover, this hope is not just about forgiveness but also about freedom. We are set free from the power of sin and the things that dominate our lives. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus liberates us from the law of sin and death, enabling us to live a life without domination. This freedom empowers us to make changes in our lives that we never thought possible, relying on God's power rather than our own.
Our hope also extends to eternity. We live a life without termination, knowing that death is not the end. We are promised eternal life with God, where there will be no more sorrow or suffering. This eternal perspective gives us hope even in the midst of life's challenges.
Additionally, we have hope because we are promised a life without limitation. As children of God, we will share in His glory and have unlimited access to His resources. This inheritance is a testament to God's love and generosity towards us.
Finally, we can live without intimidation, knowing that God is for us. If God is on our side, we need not fear anything. This assurance allows us to live confidently, knowing that nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Quotes
There is now no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. Now, does that mean that after I become a Believer I don't make any mistakes? No, you're going to make a lot of mistakes. Does it mean after you become a Believer you'll never sin again? No, you're going to sin a lot. Does it mean you'll never fail? No, you will fail. Does it mean I'll never have any errors? No, you will make errors. It means this: you're forgiven for a already in advance. You are not condemned. God is not mad at you. [00:02:03]
The law of Moses could not save us because of our sinful nature, but God put into effect a different plan to save us. God destroyed sin's control over us by giving us his son as a sacrifice for our sins. He says when Jesus did that on the cross, he didn't just break the penalty of sin—I'm free, forgiven—he broke the power of sin—I'm set free. I now, if I'll trust him, have the power to make changes in my life that I never thought possible. [00:09:35]
I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, life can't, the Angels can't, demons can't, our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we're high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. [00:27:01]
The law of the Spirit of life has set me free from the law of sin and death. In other words, I have the power to break free from things that control me. Free from what? Oh, you name it. Now, the Bible calls us the law of sin and death. What is that? The law of sin and death is why do I do things that I know are bad for me, but I still do them, and why do I hurt people when I really don't want to hurt people, but I do? [00:08:17]
I live a life with no termination. I am going to live forever. If you don't have that hope, you have a reason to be hopeless in this world—a few brief years with a lot of problem and pain, and then you die, and that's it. That's not much to hope about. Fact is, in Jesus Christ, I live a life with no condemnation—I'm forgiven, no matter what I do—a life of no domination—I'm set free. [00:12:32]
As a child of God, I have an inheritance that is coming to me, just like a human father gives a human inheritance. Your heavenly father has prepared an inheritance for you as one of his children. The Bible says this in Romans 8:16: God's spirit speaks to us deep in our hearts and tells us that we are God's children, and since we are his children, we will share his treasures. [00:13:17]
If God is for us, who can ever be against us? One plus God equals a majority. If God is near, you lose your fear. You don't really need to fear anything if God's on your side. When you have put your trust in Christ, God is now for you. He's for his children. He's for those who put their faith in him. I'm for you. [00:23:11]
I live a life without intimidation. I'm not afraid of anything and without deprivation. That means I never need to worry because God is going to provide for all my needs. I will never be deprived without deprivation. Philippians 4:19: My God shall supply all your needs—physical, emotional, financial, relational, mental—all your needs in Christ Jesus if you trust him. [00:24:50]
What we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later. That is no limitation, that I will share God's glory. So even though right now the Bible says creation groans, the Earth groans because it's been broken, we groan because of the pains in our lives, God's spirit groans for us. But we know that we have hope. [00:17:19]
I live a life without condemnation—I'm forgiven, without domination—I have the power, I've been set free, without termination—I'm going to live forever, without limitation—God's going to share his resources with me, without miscalculation—nothing happens by accident, there's a purpose and a plan behind it all. I live a life without intimidation—I'm not afraid of anything. [00:24:36]
God is bigger than your problem. God is bigger than your sin. He's bigger than your mess-ups, and he says you have a life without miscalculation. There is a purpose for your life. What is God's purpose for your life? Verse 29: For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his son. That's one of his purposes. [00:20:18]
I live a life with no termination. I'm going to live forever. This is what gives us hope. The fourth reason why I have hope, no matter how hopeless it seems, is I am able to live a life with no limitation, and that means I will share in God's glory. Not only am I going to live forever, but when I get to heaven, I'm going to have unlimited access to all of his resources. [00:13:17]
