#IndwellingVsInfilling
“``difference though is that there is a distinction between indwelling and infilling. We must permit the lord to do what he does. Did the disciples have the holy spirit? If we look at John 20, it says that Jesus breathed on them and and he said, receive the Holy Spirit. So the disciples who believed in Jesus Christ received the Holy Spirit when Jesus breathed upon them. And then the same Jesus instructs them and says, wait in Jerusalem until you receive power from on high when the holy spirit comes upon you and makes you a witness. So there is an indwelling, and then there is a coming upon. It's like drinking a glass of water. There's water in you, but standing under a waterfall is another experience.”

#BoldWitness
“I have no idea at all in myself how it is that people say, feel shy or embarrassed about Jesus. I've I it's a literal no thought for me. I just, like, I look at them thinking, you've got the greatest gift the world could ever know. And you might be shy about it or or not share it because you're I'm I'm intimidated or I'm withdrawn. Believer, Jesus said, you will receive power from the holy spirit when he comes upon you, and he will make you my witnesses. As a Christian, you are a witness. And that doesn't mean you're belligerent. It doesn't mean you invade and you're and you're insensitive. It doesn't mean that. It just means that you're empowered by the holy spirit to share faith. You are. And it should be just our first thing.”

#BornToWitness
“After my radical deliverance and conversion, I had read in the scriptures that this was possible. I don't know. It might have been a month, just probably two days two days short of a month after I was born again. And I just found myself overcome with a passion and a desire and a yearning to take hold of God in a way that would have me receive this gift of the baptism of the Holy Spirit because I wanted to be a witness. Christian, hear me. You are born again to be a witness.”

#TeachableHeart
“So I know that there's are trends and there are people and we admire and it's good to respect and it's good to honor. But it's very important that in our admiration, we don't close people off from being able to instruct us. This is what the scripture is showing us here. Here, Priscilla and Aquila move into a man who's essentially complete, and they say, would you allow us to show you the way of god more accurately? Somewhere in the makeup of this man Apollos is a a a capacity or a grace that is not really mentioned in the scripture, and that is that he's teachable.”

#PursueGodsPower
“And my appeal to you this morning is for you to journey on. And, god, stir up the gift of god that is in you. Receive his power. Let the spirit of God fall on you. Make your appeal to God. Make your demand on heaven. Say, God, I will not stop. I will not let go of you until you bless me. Bless me, Lord. Bless me, Lord. And you wrestle and you grapple with God instead of just having this, I suppose, a form of godliness without the power.”

#CovenantJourney
“But the holy spirit has a powerful working. Like, I gave myself to Vanya, and Vanya gave herself to me in the covenants of marriage. But, oh my goodness, there have been experiences, good and bad, beyond that covenant moment that allowed us to enjoy one another and experience one another in measures that were way beyond the the tearful moment where we exchanged these vows with one another, and we were married at the altar. And friends, when you gave your life to Christ, when Christ covenanted with you through his precious blood and he invited you and adopted you by his holy spirit into the family of God. And when you took his name, he was inviting you into a journey with him.”

#DeeperIntimacyWithGod
“When I came to Christ, did I receive his name when I received him as lord and savior? I did. Right? And it was the happiest day of my life. And when when I journey forward as a believer and a covenant from God and a covenant from God. Does the covenant permit me greater opportunity for ecstasy and intimacy? Does as a believer now, am I allowed to enter into that place where I can begin to experience more of God? What would you say? Yes? I agree. In the same way as you can experience fruit and ecstasy and intimacy in marriage, so the holy spirit, he comes to us after he has re after we are regenerated by the word of god. He comes to us and he offers himself to us in measures that are incredibly powerful throughout the scriptures.”

#PursueSpiritualGifts
“He says in fourteen one, pursue love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts. This is what I'm saying to you. So he says, especially that you may prophesy. How long? How I yearn for just moments where you would feel the spirit of god come upon you and you would be open to it? Say, I sense a word from god for the body to build the body up, to encourage the body, to strengthen the body, and that you release that gift. And there is a dynamic of the spirit amongst us. Right? And he's working. He said, so earnestly desire spiritual gifts. So this is not a passive state. So here is Apollos in all of his fervor and all of his passion and in all of his desire and yearning for learning. He in the in the in all of that momentum, he picks up a further momentum and comes into the rush of the spirit.”
