#GodWithin
“``And God in us, not just kind of, you know, just there, but there to teach. There to witness to us, to show us the truth, to empower us as we witness to others. The one who convicts and comforts us, who tells us, yes, your sins are dealt with. Trying to live in fear of them. Yes. You are righteous, not because you've worked your way up to this standard of goodness, but because you have the righteousness of Jesus. Yes. The judgment of God is real, but you are safe from it because you are with me. And we're guided into the truth about what we need to know. That's the gospel. What we need to know about the future as well. And what we need now in the future is Jesus. Jesus revealed to us and dwelling in us by his spirit.”

#JesusAlone
“``But what the spirit loves doing is is what is what Jesus was doing. It's what the law and the prophets was doing. It's bringing us back to the fundamental questions. How do we love God? How do we love each other? How do we return to what was lost when we turned our back on God? How can we be reconciled to him? How does life look living in that reality? And the answer's gotta be Jesus. Because if if ever we find a system where it's Jesus plus something else, we miss the point there.”

#WalkByTheSpirit
“``The spirit filled life is not so much characterized by seeking the spiritual or trying to be more spiritual, reaching a sort of standard of spiritual fulfillment. The spirit filled life is walking by the spirit, walking with Jesus through all of life's ups and downs, knowing that truly God is with you by his spirit, pointing to you to what you need to know most about Jesus, about what's to come. We had this amazing privilege that I think I've been talking about for five weeks, and I'm still not sure I get my head around it entirely. I'm not sure I ever will, but we're indwelled by the spirit, God in us.”

#TruestTruth
“``Now, what does all the truth mean? I What does it not mean? You know? That doesn't mean they're gonna be guided into all available truth. I'm not saying that with the spirit, you can know absolutely everything. True. When the spirit came at Pentecost, they began to speak in in languages they didn't understand as others could understand them, but they didn't become experts in quantum theory or, you know, brain surgery or landscape gardening. You know? They they they're not suddenly told they'll have the truth about everything, but they are told they will have the truest truth that they need.”
