Now tuck that in your back pocket because the second thing I need you to know is that the Holy Spirit can change good plans. The Holy Spirit can and will change good plans. We see starting in verse six through verse 10, Paul, his main mission from the get go was to go back to the churches that were started in Turkey and visit them and strengthen them. He was going to encourage them. And in fact, that's what we see in verse five that they had reached those churches and they were strengthened in the faith. They grew daily in numbers. You know, one of the things that we're doing this year as a church is we're taking a slow time in prayer. Matter of fact, Wednesday was supposed to be our prayer and vision night, but we we're taking a slow walk in prayer because we're at a really fun stage in life of our church. Our debt is paid off. Our our our debt's paid off, and and and we we know what the mission is, but we don't know the specifics. That's where we are. So, Lord, we're we're asking for specifics. Okay? And so there's decisions on should we build a certain building? Should we how should we invest in missions and missionaries? We've got a plan to do that, but what's the specifics behind doing that? And so we are taking time to seek the Lord. [00:29:38] (46 seconds)  #PrayerForDirection Download clip

a lot of people didn't understand why Jesus came to save them. They thought Jesus came to save them, or at least their good plan was Jesus came to save them from the Roman oppression, but they had somehow forgotten that there was a greater oppressor. And Jesus Christ saved us from the oppressor of our sin. He saved us from the devil's grip. He saved us from the devil's plan. [00:52:09] (30 seconds)  #SavedFromSin Download clip

And right now, you and I both know, we talk about as a church, man, the gospel begins at home. It begins right in your house. The your mission field does not begin at your work or your next door neighbor. It begins where you lay your head every night, where you eat your meals, where you gather as a family. That is your first mission field for everybody, male and female. [00:19:45] (26 seconds)  #GospelStartsAtHome Download clip

because in that moment, the Holy Spirit made clear what the plan was. Paul had good plans, but God had a better plan. God's plan was superior to whatever Paul's plan was. And God led him to a point so that he could get Paul to where he wanted him to be. [00:28:59] (23 seconds)  #GodsPlanIsBetter Download clip

Today, family, I don't know if you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, but I think you should. I know you should. I also know that not only should you put your faith in Jesus Christ, but you should reflect for a few moments today. Don't don't flip the TV or the screen over to something else. Sit down with your journal, your pen, and your bible, and and start mapping out what God has done in your life and how the Lord has unveiled all of these secret plans. And maybe what you'll see is that God's been doing something bigger in your life and through your life, His works have been greater than any work you could have done on your own. man, God is pushing you in a certain direction, and you're fighting it. And you don't know why, and none of it makes sense, and it's not what you want, and it's probably not what you think is right. And maybe your plans are good, and they're not bad, they're not evil, but God is pushing you in a different direction. [00:32:34] (22 seconds)  #SurrenderToHisDirection Download clip

and and so, I mean, I prayed for us to figure out what to do with that room for for months, months and months and months. We had five special needs children in our church, and their families were frustrated because we kept trying to minister to them but couldn't figure out how to do it. It just got difficult with them. And so we started a special needs ministry in our church in our church. And and and before all was said and done, all five kids were saved and baptized, and they're still serving in the local church.
