#SpiritGiftsNotStatus
“The truth of the matter is the holy spirit wants us to operate in whatever gift he needs at that very moment. The other thing I'll say as we talk about this just at this moment that just because one person operates in in a spiritual gift does not make them a super Christian or a better Christian than you. That's not how this works. It's it's the holy spirit, not human effort. And so when when we think about the gifts of the spirit, say, none of these gifts are operating in my life. Does that make me a worse Christian? No, it doesn't. It doesn't change your saving salvation.”

#GiftsForTheBody
“It's to profit all, and it's for every believer. Spiritual gifts are not reserved for just a select few or super Christians or church leaders, but it's for the good of all. For the good of all. The purpose of the gift is the common good of all. They are not just to be used, to selfishly help others, but to build up the church to glorify god rather than seeking personal recognition and individual gain. The gifts of the spirit are for the profit of the body, those around us.”

#ServeBeyondChurch
“And as we move through the gifts of the spirit, what we're gonna find and see is that the gifts of the spirit not only profit this body of believers, this this family that gathers together here on Sunday mornings. It's not only for the profit of them but for those on your job, for those that you work with, for those that you see in the grocery store. That is the purpose of the gifts of the spirit. We are called to a higher purpose outside of these walls and the gifts of the spirit operating through us is is for the benefit of those around us, regardless if it's inside this building or outside these walls.”

#TangibleHolySpirit
“The spiritual gifts in in in King James, it says, but the manifestation of the holy spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. The profit of all. The the gifts are tangible. The the supernatural power of the holy spirit isn't just an abstract concept. It becomes visible and noticeable, manifested. It's tangible, and the the Paul writes here that the gifts that operate through us is to benefit those around us. It's not for ourselves, yet we do get benefit, but it's for the benefit of those around us.”

#GodWorksDifferently
“He said, but when is the songs we just did yesterday, everybody was jumping and clapping and dancing? It's because god doesn't work the same way every time all the time. It's different. Different acts of of of the spirit work differently and the outcomes are different. It it all comes from god and he's going to accomplish his will and his purpose through them but it's going to be different. Ultimately, god is is the orchestrator. He's the orchestrator and and it is him, the one and only that that actively works in and through his people to accomplish his purpose. His purpose.”

#NoFormulaForRevival
“for different people. It's not always going to be the same way at the same time. My dad tells this story that he he was in a part of a worship team in a gospel band. He said, they came in on a on a Sunday night and they was playing this certain set of songs and man, the fire god fell. People was dancing and running and shouting and whoo the presence of god. He said, so he's coming back the next day. It was revival. He said, you know what we did? We did we did the same songs. We're like, that's the formula right there. Let's do these same songs. He said, it was dead as a doornail.”

#CalledToUseGifts
“I I talked to about this yesterday that this has to be our safe place to allow the holy spirit to work through us so that when we're outside in the battle, have the ability and understanding for the holy spirit to work through us out there. Does that make sense, church? And so for us to to allow the holy spirit and and allow him to speak and use each and every one of us because we're all called. If you are a believer, you are called to be used in the gifts to those around us.”

#DifferentGiftsDifferentRoles
“Because there's there's different operations. We have different thought processes and and the holy spirit uses us differently. I I think just in this topic to the subject of of the differentness of the body. So many people are afraid of the holy spirit being used in the gifts because you're afraid you're gonna have to get up and you'll preach. I'm not asking you to come preach. Now, maybe god calls you to do that and we'll give you the opportunity and platform. But the truth of the matter is, if everybody hears a preacher, then we're doing something wrong.”
