89s
“``At the cross, Satan's accusations were answered. At the empty tomb, death was defeated. At the right hand of the father, Jesus reigns in victory. One day, every spiritual enemy will be fully and finally crushed under his feet. Until then, the church must stand. We stand in truth. We stand in righteousness. We stand in the gospel of peace. We stand by faith. We stand in salvation. We stand on scripture, and we stand through prayer. Above all, we stand in Christ. final application for this. This week, choose one specific spiritual battle and match it with one specific scripture and one specific prayer. We do not fight vaguely. We stand firmly. We pray specifically, and we trust Christ completely.”

“When the enemy fires fear, faith says, God is with me always. When the enemy fires shame, faith says, Christ has paid my debt for me. When the enemy fires temptation, faith says God's way is better. When the enemy fires doubt, faith says God's word is true. When the enemy fires despair, faith says God is not finished. Paul says the shield of faith can extinguish the flaming darts. The word emphasizes putting out or quenching the fire. This does not mean believers will never be attacked. It means the attack does not have to consume them. Faith is not powerful because impressive. Faith is powerful because of the object of our faith, which is Jesus. A weak faith in a strong savior is better than a strong confidence in the wrong thing.”

“Preach the gospel to yourself. Remember this. I am saved by grace. I am redeemed by Christ. I am sealed by the spirit. I am loved by the father. I am not condemned. I am not abandoned, and I am not the fame defined by my worst failure. I belong to Jesus. God will finish what he started. Your salvation is not fragile because your say your savior is not weak. The shield and helmet protect us, but Paul now gives the believer a weapon. God does not leave his people merely defensive. He gives them a sword of the spirit.”
75s
“Jesus is the armor and the victory. Every piece of armor points us back to Christ, Christ, the belt of truth. Jesus is the faithful one we trust because he is the way, the truth, and the life. The helmet of salvation. Jesus is the salvation that guards our minds as we have the mind of Christ. The sword of the spirit. Jesus is the living word who perfectly wields it. The shield of faith. Jesus is our great high priest who intercedes for us even now. The shoes of the gospel of peace. Jesus is the prince of peace. The breastplate of righteousness. We put on Christ who sets his righteousness over us and protects our heart with his own life so that you can be made right with god.”
