45s
“Since Jesus Christ wore the breastplate of righteousness to go to war against your sin, you and I can wear robes of righteousness to stand in favor with God. Garbed in righteousness not our own, brought to peace that we should not deserve because he experienced the wrath that was not his. The priesthood of Jesus Christ means that you stand in favor with God because he received the wrath.”
56s
“The priesthood of Christ assures us that his faithfulness on our behalf brings us into favor with him. actually doesn't just love us. He likes us. He loves us, and he delights in us. Because through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ, he's brought us to good favor with him. Doesn't that astound you? I mean, I don't even like myself. You say, we understand that. Okay. You can keep that yourself. You are in favor with god.”
62s
“Since his ministry is both complete continual, we can be confident that he will continually complete us. And this is what Paul says in Philippians chapter one. I am sure that he who began the good work in you will complete end of the day of Jesus Christ. He will. He will iron out the rough edges. I was with you this week, brother and sister. If you were so angry at yourself again because of the sin that you did again, I was with you. If you prayed with me like Paul, who will deliver me from this body of sin and darkness? Then let's be assured according to the priesthood of Christ that he who began the good work will complete it. It's complete, and it's continual, and he will complete us continually.”
