#ChristWideArms
“See that love Christ had for us sent himself all the way to the cross. Jesus' arms were stretched wider than anyone else's, wide enough to embrace the entire world, long enough to reach through into the generations. His arms were deep enough to descend into death, but they were high enough to raise us to eternal life. See, that's the steadfast love of Christ. Because his hands were pierced for our transgressions, ours are finally free to be open.”

#RootedInChristLove
“His steadfast love has conquered your death, and his steadfast love and his tight grip on your life will never let you go. So may your family and whatever season of life it is in be rooted not in busyness, not in achievements, not in FOMO or the fear of missing out, but in the immeasurable love of Christ. From him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory, the praise, and the honor in all generations.”

#ChristDwellsHere
“not saying here that he would visit occasionally or stop by occasionally, but he's saying the word dwell. He's saying to make his home. Now the Greek word that Paul uses here carries this idea of permanent residence. You see Jesus doesn't want to just be your weekend guest. He's making his home among his people. It's your family. Whether that family table is one person or nine. Whether your home is loud or whether your home is quiet, whether your family tree happens to be flourishing or whether it's fractured, Christ dwells there with you in faith. And that's the news that comforts us, encourages us, and changes everything for us today.”

#OpenHandedParenting
“Now, hands, they can look different in every single season. You see, for for parents, open hands means realizing that your children ultimately belong to God before they belong to you. That changes how we parent our kids. Instead of asking, what activity can we add? You start to ask questions like, what is shaping my child's heart? Now sometimes, we can say yes, but sometimes, love says no. Sometimes the most loving answer for us as parents is to say, hey, tonight we're going to stay home. Because children ultimately don't need another trophy, but they need parents who live and quietly confess that Jesus is enough.”
