#TrustTheOneWhoHoldsUs
“``The reason we don't have to worry or grow anxious is not because the world isn't worrisome or chaotic, but but because we know the one who holds both us and the world. I'm gonna say it again. The reason we don't have to worry or grow anxious is not because the world isn't worrisome or chaotic, because we know the one who holds both us the world. In Matthew chapter six beginning in verse five twenty five, Jesus is going to remind us about this truth, about why we don't have to worry, why we don't have to be anxious, and today, we get to trust him. Today, based on his completed work of the cross and his resurrection from the grave, he has proven himself to be trustworthy, and this truth will set us free. So”

#JesusHasYou
“And you don't tell them to not be afraid just because you're telling them not to be afraid, but you're telling them to not be afraid. Why? Because you are there. When I tell my kids not to be afraid, I'm reminding them that I will whoop any monster that has the audacity to come in their room. And so when it says, do not worry, Jesus is going, hey, Don't worry because I've got it, and I've got you. He's not just giving us this statement that means nothing. No. He's reminding us of what is true. Hey. If you put your hope in me, if you recognize and realize that I've got it, I promise you, you don't have to worry because I've already done it. And I've got it, and I've got you.”

#RootedInKingdom
“maybe for us, it is time for our roots to get even deeper into the beautiful soil of the kingdom of God and for us to lift our hands to the son and welcome what he offers to us. And when I say son, I don't mean s u n. Let's us do an English lesson. I mean s o n. Like, maybe it's time for that because listen, the lilies are taken care of, and hear me, he's taking care of his people as well. Even the field of lilies are not worried. And even Solomon in all of his splendor could not compare to the beauty. Seeing Jesus' faithfulness clearly today helps us not worry about tomorrow. Remember the lilies.”

#SayYesToJesus
“you're going, Nick, I'm overwhelmed by anxiety and worry, and I have not placed my hope in the person of Jesus. I have not trusted him as my Lord and savior. I have not said yes to his invitation to dine at his table and become one of his sons and daughters. Maybe today is the day where you say yes. Where you say yes to his invitation. You say yes to the perfect life he lived that you could not live. That you say yes to the fact that he paid your debt because you were unable to pay it. That you say yes to the fact that he got up holding the key to victory, and through his victory and his victory alone, you can have victory. Maybe it's time to say yes.”

#HeIsFaithful
“yes, I know the future is unknown, but we know the one who holds the future. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. We have to remember well. And listen, I know the temptation when life gets hard, when we're anxious, when we're worrisome, when we are pressed, we tend to forget the very thing we should never forget. But I am encouraging you today, remember well. When was the last time you wrote down all of his faithfulness? When was the last time you did a history lesson about how he showed up again and again and again and again? And hear me, family. If he has been faithful in the past, he will be faithful in the present, and he will be faithful in the future. That is who he is. He doesn't change. He can't help himself but be faithful. Faithful is his middle name, y'all. That's who he is. Yes. Yes. And so if that is true, then whatever has our attention, whatever is causing us worry and anxiety today, we can surrender it to him again and again and again. Why? Because he's faithful. Yes. He is. He is faithful.”

#GiveItToGod
“it's time to go to the one who actually can do something and go, hey. I'm gonna give it to you. Hey. I'm gonna give it to you. Hey. I'm gonna give it to you. You might go, Nick, I've tried that. But how many times do we take it back? How many times do go, Lord, you're not working in my time frame. I gave you that. I told you my worries. I told you my anxiety. But it's been twelve and a half minutes and you haven't done nothing yet. I get it. See, it's continuing to give it to him. Acknowledging that you can't, but he can. It would be crazy for you to keep adding weight on you and hoping that you can lift it. You cannot lift it. And if we keep doing that, it will only attempt to crush us.”

#RememberHisFaithfulness
“Remembering well today helps us not worry about tomorrow. Remembering well today helps us not worry about tomorrow. Remember what? Who has us in it? Remember who has us in it? We have to remember who goes before us, who walks with us, who has our back. We have to be a people that remember well. Remember what? That Jesus has it in us. Yes. And I know it sounds so simple, but I'm telling you, I am prone to forgetfulness just like you are. How many times has he come through before? How many times has he made a way when there was no way? How many times has he revealed to us how he's working and moving in the background? How many times has he been faithful? And then if you forget those moments, the tomb is still empty today, and it will forever be. And he's seated at the right hand of the father because the work is finished. He's done it. Remember his faithfulness.”

#DoTheWord
“Something else I was thinking about now this might just be for me, but I don't think it is. See, operating with wisdom today also helps us not worry about tomorrow. Operating with wisdom today also helps us not worrying about tomorrow. What do I mean, like, by operating by wisdom? This is about to blow your mind, what I'm about to say. You have probably never heard anything quite like this before. Do you want to know how to operate with wisdom today? Not only read God's word, but do what it says. Some of y'all went, what? I'm gonna be honest with y'all. You don't need any more knowledge of God's word, probably. We are all overeducated when it comes to the faith that we walk out in. Amen. Maybe today is the day where you go, you know what, Jesus? You said do it that way. Here's a crazy thought, everybody. I'm gonna do that.”
