#ChildrenOfGod
“``As a church, we want to look at people as children of God. This is what the pharisees missed when they were coming through life. This is what they missed when they were encountering Jesus. They had their rules and their regulations, they had the things that they wanted to do. And those things were more important than learning who Jesus truly was, who God truly wanted them to be. We can attend church every week, we can serve faithfully, we can have bible verses memorized, but if our hearts are not being changed by who Jesus is, then it's just a waste of time. Our faith is measured by our trust, not by who we've been but by who we are becoming.”

#TrustInJesus
“Jesus has the power to heal, he has the power to overcome any situation that we can find ourselves in. He doesn't ask of us to go out and and to fix all of the problems for the world. He doesn't ask of us to to know all of the things and and to memorize all of scripture. He doesn't ask of us, he asks of us to to place our faith and to allow our hearts to be changed by him and for him.”

#HeartOverRules
“If we focus on the rules, if we focus on on conforming people to what we think a Christian should look like, we're missing the mark. People have been doing that for ages. Who is Jesus? What am I gonna do as a response to who Jesus is? I want my life to be changed. I want my heart to be changed. I want to reflect who he is with everything that I do. This is what he's showing his disciples. This is what he's explaining and and living his life so that they will one day understand who he truly is.”

#JesusFirst
“And it's not that washing your hands is a bad thing. Washing your hands is a good thing, especially if you use soap. It's not the act of washing hands. It's the placing the washing of the hands as more important than Jesus. Do what you understand through scripture is right. But above all things, above all principles, above all ceremonial washings, look at who Jesus is. Desire Jesus to be in your hearts, so that we can be changed, so we can show the world who he is. Let's pray.”

#NewLifeInChrist
“Jesus didn't come to the earth to just wipe out bad people. They tried that in the old testament. They tried that with Noah. They tried that, and yet somehow evil came back and back. He didn't come to just wipe out all the bad people in the world. He came to give those who were spiritually dead something new. The serious question that we keep coming back to week after week is who is Jesus? And when we learn who Jesus is and and the facts about him and and what his ministry was and how he treated people, Who is Jesus and what am I gonna do in response to him?”

#TransformedByGrace
“It's not about all of the things that we've made life out to be. It's not about making sure that you're in church on every single Sunday. It's not that we're singing out our worship songs. Those are not the key points. It's that our lives are changed and transformed by your word. That we see who you are truly and we accept you into our lives, that we are changed from the inside out. You ask of us to stop, give of our lives, give of the desires that we have of our hearts, to seek after you and stop and follow. There's only one person who knows what my heart is like. I ask that you clean my heart out. You lead me towards you, that I made whole in your image, in your name. Amen.”

#MoreThanSunday
“I've seen people that that give and they show up every Sunday and and then you find out later it's not quite what you thought that it was. God God isn't calling us to show up on Sunday with our best clothes. God isn't calling us to to just simply come in here and find a blue chair that feels comfortable for the day and and and fill it. He's calling us to to seek out who he truly is. He's calling of us to bring that inside of us and change from the inside out to be transformed by his word.”

#FaithNotFear
“He's got a little friend named Bunga. Bunga is a honey badger. And Bunga, over and over and over again, they get into any little hairy situation with a hyena or some outland creature and high and and Bunga goes, well, I've got Kayan. Kayan, just give him the roar. This is what I would expect the disciples to be. They would just well, no matter the situation, no matter the fear, no matter the the crazy situation we find, you're hungry, no big deal, I've got Jesus. But no, that's not how they are. They haven't grasped who Jesus really truly is even though they live and breathe and sleep alongside of him.”
