#PoorInSpirit
“They're the ones that come to the Lord. They come to Jesus. They say, I have nothing worthy to offer on this altar in the heavenly temple. No amount of works, no amount of good deeds, no amount of gifts could ever atone from my sins. I have nothing to place there upon the altar. I'm not able to present an offering that is acceptable to God. But the poor in spirit also recognizes, I believe, though, that you went for me. I believe you gave your own life for mine. I believe in your promises that all who look to you will be saved. And this is the cry of the poor in spirit. I know I need a priest, but I have nothing to give you. I have nothing to offer.”

#BetterCovenant
“And it says Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant. You know, the world has many priests. Israel had many priests. Priests who made offerings for their own sins, priests who made offerings for the sins of the people. But when Jesus stretched out his his arms for the sins of the world, when he who knew no sin became sin for us, when his soul was poured out unto death, the last and the only priest that we would ever need sealed the covenant with his own blood. That's Jesus.”

#NewLifeInChrist
“And this covenant is not simply one that cleanses you. It does far more than just cleansing you. A lot of people think you come to Jesus, you get washed, and you just kinda cruise on like life's normal, like a car wash. You just drive through, you know, get covered by Jesus, and go about your day. No. It does far more than that. This covenant restores you. This covenant makes you a member of the household of God. Whoever comes into this covenant, they come broken, and they're instantly made whole, complete in Christ. Whoever has come into this covenant has come dead, and they have become alive in Christ. Whoever has come in came in as a sinner and was perfected in Christ. This is way more than just some drive through cleaning.”
