“A house here is really not that big deal. That's the whole idea. Right? Like, you could take my house. You could put me in prison because this life is as a vapor, but I'm gonna be with Jesus one day. So do what you want to me. Yes. And I think that's where we see in other countries persecution that's happening. And yet these people are joyful. Yes. Like, these people are unapologetic about getting a page of the bible so they can know a little bit more about god. I would much rather that be the case for us Christians in America than for this kind of, like,”

“And suffering a little while, and I think this is where Peter, and I appreciate Peter so much in this. Yes. And I think Paul would say the same thing. Like, where, like, Peter saying suffering a little while is the same type of suffering the apostle Paul is talking about when he says this light momentary affliction Excuse is outweighed by the way to glory. Doesn't matter. Light momentary affliction for Paul? Shipwrecked multiple times. Yes. Beaten multiple times. Whipped multiple times. Left for dead over and over in prison. Often, like, light momentary affliction. Peter, a little suffering. Suffering for a little while. Yes. What could that little while be? The duration of your life. Yes. Right? Because the duration of your life is still a little while in comparison to eternity. Yes.”

“What is Jesus telling people? Hey. If somebody if somebody takes your tunic, give them your cloak as well. Yes. Like, if someone tries to take this thing from you, if they're trying to take your lunch money, you know, give them your lunch money. Right. Buy them the food. Sit with them at lunch. You know? Like like, ask them if you could throw away the trash from your lunch that they stole from you. Like, that flies in the face of what we are taught in this kind of and that's why I like how you said we are sojourners.”

#HeavenlyInheritance
“So let's look at these Christians' perspective. were being in prison. They their property was being plundered on the account of Christ. They joyfully accepted it since they knew that they had a better possession and an abiding one. So they had something better. Yes. So, like, they were taking broken stuff that moth and rust will corrupt, that thieves will break in and steal. But they are looking forward. Like, I think about that Ephesians verse. Ephesians one eighteen.”
