#PrayerBreaksSilence
“``Today's message is really a powerful message for all of us. Prayer is not an attempt to get god's attention. Like, hey, I'm, you know, like a two year old. Hey, I want more cake. You know? No. No. Prayer is is a means by which god draws his people into his purposes and plans. In today's passage, silence is the silence in heaven is broken by one key factor, our prayers. And what follows what follows are four dramatic results.”

#StandInTheGap
“So what brings about god's wrath? What breaks the silence in heaven? It's our prayers. The prophet Ezekiel states this that god searched in vain for someone to look for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I search for someone to stand in the gap. Intercessors' prayers like you and me are those who stand in the gap before god between earth and heaven. Every time we pray thy kingdom come, thy will be done, we are standing in the gap.”

#PrayInSubmission
“Intercessors also pray submissively. In other words, remember what Jesus said in the garden? Not my will, but my will. And that's where the imagery of the incense comes in. The incense is what God's will is, and we we align ourselves with it, and it goes up to God. God, I'm praying this, but if your will is different, show me that so I can pray in accordance with your will. So my prayers line up with your purposes. Today's takeaway is simply this. There it is. Prayer breaks heaven silence when we wait on his timing. Silence of heaven is broken when we wait on his timing.”

#BoldConfidentPrayer
“We pray scripturally, but we also pray confidently. Why? Because the author of Hebrews says that we are invited to come boldly to the throne of grace where we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Intercessors come boldly, confidently. They also come expectantly. We know God's gonna answer our prayers, whether it's now. Remember? When God answers our prayers. or slow. Right? And the slow may take two thousand years, but God's gonna answer our prayers.”
